Le réseau des organisations civiles palestiniennes s’est montré inquiet de l’arrêt des générateurs de la centrale électrique de la bande de Gaza. Cela ne fait que renforcer les souffrances des habitants de la Bande. Ces souffrances sont déjà insupportables, au vu des agressions sionistes perpétuelles, avec la chaleur et l’humidité, à l’approche du mois béni de Ramadan.
Dans un communiqué dont notre Centre Palestinien d’Information (CPI) a reçu une copie, le réseau souligne que la coupure du courant laisse son ombre sur tous les domaines de la vie courante. La santé, l’environnement, la vie sociale, l’eau. Les citoyens sont de ce fait obligés d’utiliser des générateurs pour de longs moments, ce qui est un réel danger. Plusieurs Palestiniens y ont laissé la vie.
Tout le monde doit travailler pour trouver une solution radicale à cette crise du courant : la quantité du carburant nécessaire, l’entretien de la centrale…
Tout le monde doit assumer ses responsabilités pour mettre fin à cette crise, pour que le service public ne soit pas lié à cette division politique qui déchire la Cisjordanie et la bande de Gaza.
Enfin, le réseau a appelé les gouvernements de la Cisjordanie et de la bande de Gaza à se mettre d’accord sur des mesures uniques pour résoudre la crise.

Le premier vice-président du conseil législatif palestinien, Dr. Ahmed Bahr, a accueilli, samedi 7/8, une haute délégation parlementaire britannique et a salué les efforts visant à casser le blocus de Gaza et à soutenir ses habitants.
"Nous accueillons la délégation parlementaire britannique qui visite la bande de Gaza et saluons ses efforts, alors qu'elle est arrivée avec le convoi et apporte des aides à notre peuple palestinien assiégé. Ensuite, le conseil législatif palestinien loue la position du conseil britannique des Lords et la chambre des communes, qui viennent examiner la souffrance des députés d'Al-Qods menacés d'expulsion", a déclaré Bahr.
Le premier vice-président du conseil législatif palestinien a précisé que le peuple palestinien est assiégé et a souligné que l'arrêt de la centrale électrique à cause de l'épuisement du carburant nécessaire pour son travail représente une confirmation que le blocus est continu.
De son côté, le député Dr. Salem Salama du bloc "Changement et réforme", qui représente le mouvement du Hamas au conseil législatif palestinien, a dit que les députés britanniques qui visitent la bande de Gaza ont reconnu l'erreur perpétrée par leur gouvernement qui a refusé de reconnaître les résultats des élections législatives palestiniennes en 2006, après la victoire du Hamas.
Dans le même contexte, la délégation parlementaire britannique a visité l'université islamique à Gaza pour voir les destructions causées par la guerre sioniste contre la bande de Gaza.
Alors que le 25e sommet « Afrique-France », qui est aussi celui du cinquantenaire des « indépendances », se tient à Nice les 31 mai et 1er juin 2010, l’affaire est assez emblématique des mutations de cet étrange serpent de mer qu’est la « Françafrique ». Chacun sait depuis le 15 mai 2010 que la libération de l’universitaire Clotilde Reiss est en partie due à une « médiation sénégalaise » au sein de laquelle l’avocat Robert Bourgi, aussi talentueux que multicarte et seul héritier du savoir-faire « foccartien », a joué un rôle déterminant.

Seuls trois hommes étaient au courant du « voyage secret » en Iran de Me Bourgi et de Karim Wade, à la fin de mars 2010 : le père de ce dernier, Abdoulaye Wade, et à Paris Nicolas Sarkozy et son secrétaire général, Claude Guéant, à qui les deux émissaires ont régulièrement rendu compte au téléphone, depuis Téhéran, des progrès de leur mission. Ni Bernard Kouchner, ni Jean-David Levitte, ni même le patron de la « DGSE », Erard Corbin de Mangoux, ne savaient quoi que ce soit de ce déplacement feutré.
Culte du secret, court-circuitage des filières institutionnelles, casquettes africaines et contacts parallèles activés par un personnage à la réputation (forcément) sulfureuse et qui en joue avec habi1été : la méthode Foccart transposée dans l’Orient compliqué a donc, si l’on peut dire, porté ses fruits. Si la « Françafrique » « incestueuse » et « patrimoniale » est morte, celle des réseaux est, elle, toujours bien vivante. À une différence - de taille près : elle est acéphale. Là où Jacques Foccart, qui consacrait l’essentiel de son temps aux affaires du « pré carré », tirait tous les fils à la manière d’un grand marionnettiste, Claude Guéant, pour qui l’Afrique n’est qu’une préoccupation parmi d’autres, intervient directement ou par intermédiaire interposé que sur certains dossiers sensibles. D’où l’éclatement et la multiplication de « réseaux » souvent complémentaires « Elysée-business » par exemple, reliés entre eux par des passerelles (avocats, juges, médecins), ouvertement «rivaux (ONG) », transcourants (francs-maçons), etc., mais qui tous fonctionnent en interne avec de vraies solidarités corporatistes et une opacité commune.
Autre évolution : les « réseaux » sont désormais autant « afro-français » que « franco-africains » et leur interpénétration réciproque est fréquente. Un Laurent Gbagbo, un Paul Biya, un Denis Sassou N’Guesso, un Ali Bongo Ondimba, pour ne citer qu’eux, ont tous leur « réseau » d’influence qui emprunte à chacun (ou presque) des « réseaux » français. Conséquence de cette alchimie complexe, qui tient parfois de la raffinerie :
L’apparition de missi dominici dont on distingue mal a priori l’allégeance principale. Il faut ainsi de bons yeux pour hiérarchiser les fidélités dont se réclame aujourd’hui l’incontournable Robert Bourgi : Sarkozy et Guéant en premier lieu, puis Wade, Ali Bongo Ondimba, Ould Abdelaziz, Gbagbo et quelques autres. Il est vrai que, en ce domaine, chacun avance masqué. Le petit « who’s who » que nous publions cette semaine - et d’où sont exclus les ministres pour qui l’Afrique fait en quelque sorte partie du Job, tels Bernard Kouchner et Alain Joyandet - a pour ambition de guider les pas du profane dans le maquis de la « néo-Françafrique ». Nous avons volontairement omis dans ce vade-mecum les pays du Maghreb, qui relèvent, eux, de réseaux bilatéraux à la fois différents et étanches, sur lesquels nous reviendrons prochainement.
ÉLYSÉE CONNECTION
Aux côtés d’un président qui n’a que peu d’appétence pour les « affaires africaines » et dont la doctrine à ce sujet a évolué, de discours en discours, de manière quelque peu erratique, c’est au secrétaire général de l’Élysée, Claude Guéant, que revient la gestion du réseau ou de ce qu’il en reste. Au niveau institutionnel, le conseiller diplomatique Jean-David Levitte et son adjoint chargé du Sud-Sahara (Mauritanie comprise), André Parant lequel bénéficie de l’apport de deux conseillers techniques : Remi Maréchaux et Clément Leclerc -, dépendent directement de lui. Mais Levitte n’ayant jamais manifesté de tropisme africain particulier en dehors de la préparation des voyages et sommets présidentiels, l’omniprésente éminence grise du Château a la main sur le continent. Claude Guéant reçoit volontiers dans son bureau les émissaires des chefs d’État et se déplace pour rencontrer ces derniers dans les grands hôtels ou ils descendent lors de leurs passages à Paris.
L’avocat Robert Bourgi lui sert à la fois de conseil, de missi dominici et de poisson-pilote sur des pays comme le Gabon, le Sénégal, la Mauritanie, Madagascar, le Bénin, voire la Côte d’Ivoire ou le Togo. Mais il n’est pas le seul, même si les autres « africains » figurant dans le carnet d’adresses de Guéantjouent un rôle beaucoup plus restreint. Georges Ouegnin, l’ancien directeur du protocole de la présidence ivoirienne, très introduit à Brazzaville et à la présidence de la « Banque africaine de développement (BAD) », est de ceux-là, tout comme le diplomate, ex-conseiller spécial d’Idriss Déby Itno (et décoré de la légion d’honneur), Abakar Manany, qui a joué un rôle non négligeable dans la reprise des relations entre la France et le Rwanda. Difficile par ailleurs de ne pas citer le nom du député-maire de Levallois-Perret, Patrick Balkany, ami de Nicolas Sarkozy, électron libre quelque peu sulfureux que l’on a vu à l’œuvre à Kinshasa, Bangui et Nouakchott.
Autres francs-tireurs : les anciens ministres Charles Millon et Alain Madelin. Proche d’Abdoulaye Wade, ce dernier continue d’entretenir des liens avec l’Afrique par le biais du Fonds de solidarité numérique (accès aux nouvelles technologies), qu’il préside. Côté « UMP », le porteparole adjoint (et conseiller de Nicolas Sarkozy), Dominique Paillé, passe parfois des messages entre l’Élysée et Abidjan (ou l’inverse), ainsi que le font, avec Lomé, le député du Rhône, Christophe Guilloteau, membre d’une demi-douzaine de groupes d’amitié franco-africains à l’Assemblée. L’ex-chiraquien Jacques Toubon, à la tête de la « mission du cinquantenaire » et qui occupe, au « Quai d’Orsay », les anciens bureaux du secrétariat d’État de Rama Yade, ne s’est jamais éloigné du continent et a trouvé dans son éphémère fonction l’occasion de renforcer ses liens. Enfin, à la périphérie, évoluent une poignée de publicistes tel Laurent Taïeb, dont le périodique L’Essentiel des relations internationales, souvent axé sur l’Afrique et lié à l’« UMP », est à disposition dans tous les salons d’attente de l’Élysée. Malin, Taïeb a trouvé dans les cercles d’amateurs de cigares qu’il anime un réseau d’influence original. À portée de main du Château également, le chirurgiendentiste Patrick Gaubert, ancien membre du cabinet de Charles Pasqua, président du « Haut Conseil à l’intégration », président d’honneur de la « Ligue internationale contre le racisme et l’antisémitisme (LICRA) » et ami de vingt-cinq ans de Nicolas Sarkozy. Gaubert, Toubon, ainsi que les députés « UMP » Jean-Michel Fourgous et JeanFrançois Mancel étaient à Brazzaville en juillet 2009 pour observer le scrutin présidentiel à l’invitation de la « Commission nationale congolaise des droits de l’homme », proche du pouvoir. Au grand étonnement du « Quai d’Orsay ». Mais avec l’accord tacite de Claude Guéant.
LES GRANDS COMMIS
Contrairement aux idées reçues, l’Élysée ne fait pas tout. Exemple : la réconciliation franco-rwandaise. À son arrivée au « Quai », en juin 2007, Bernard Kouchner confie ce casse-tête à une « task force » où figurent sa conseillère Afrique, Charlotte Montel, la trentaine dynamique, sa conseillère juridique, Sylvie Pantz, et un quadra faussement nonchalant, Laurent Contini. Au bout d’un an de remue-méninges, ils trouvent la solution.
« Si l’un des neuf inculpés rwandais se livre à la justice française, Kigali aura accès au dossier de l’attentat contre Habyarimana et pourra retarder la procédure à loisir ». Le coup marche. Les relations diplomatiques sont rétablies et le nouvel ambassadeur de France à Kigali s’appelle Laurent Contini. Pour exister face à l’Élysée, le « Quai » ne se contente pas de faire des coups. Jour après jour, il laboure le terrain. Chef des labours :
Stéphane Gompertz, directeur Afrique et vieux briscard. Tous les matins, il digère les dizaines de « TD (télégrammes diplomatiques) » que lui envoient ses ambassades et produit des notes de synthèse. Certains « TD » sont plus lus que d’autres. Notamment ceux des ambassadeurs de poids, comme Bruno Joubertà Rabat, JeanMarc Simon à Abidjan, JeanDidier Roisin à Libreville, JeanChristophe Belliard à Addis-Abeba ou Jean-Marc Châtaigner à Antananarivo. Et bien sûr les « TD littéraires » de l’académicien Jean-Christophe Rufin, qui achève un séjour de trois ans à Dakar. Moins connue, Sylvie Bermann joue un rôle pivot au « Quai ». C’est elle qui gère les Français de l’« ONU » et de l’« UE », notamment le chef des opérations de maintien de la paix, Alain Leroy, et l’ambassadeur à New York, Gérard Araud.
Autre personnage clé aux Affaires étrangères : Georges Serre. L’ancien conseiller Afrique d’Hubert Védrine supervise aujourd’hui l’aide au développement. Tous les jeudis après-midi, il accompagne Montel, Gompertz et Berann à l’Élysée pour assister à la réunion Afrique autour d’André Parant. À la Défense, le chef d’état-major des armées, l’amiral Édouard Guillaud, est l’homme incontournable. Certes, il n’a pas de passé africain, mais cet ancien chef d’état-major particulier de Nicolas Sarkozy a toute la confiance du chef de l’État. À la réunion du jeudi à l’Élysée, il délègue le colonel Jean-Jacques Toutous, un marsouin (troupes de marine) qui a crapahuté sur le continent. Toutous y retrouve le colonel Benoît Houssay, un chasseur alpin affecté au cabinet du ministre de la Défense, Hervé Morin. Autre homme influent, le général Emmanuel Beth. Cet ancien patron de la « force Licorne » en Côte d’Ivoire supervise toute la coopération militaire (détachement d’instructeurs, accueil d’élèves officiers en France, etc.). Depuis deux ans, depuis le discours de Nicolas Sarkozy au Cap, il faut compter aussi avec les deux grands commis de l’Etat qui renégocient les accords de défense entre la France et ses excolonies. Côte à côte, FrançoisXavier Deniau et le général Benoît Puga, un diplomate et un officier … aux états de service longs comme le bras. En 1978, le légionnaire Puga a sauté sur « Kolwezi », au Zaïre. Puis, après avoir fait le coup de feu en Centrafrique et au Tchad, il a dirigé le « Commandement des opérations spéciales (COS) » et la « Direction des renseignements militaires (DRM) ». Aujourd’hui, il est chef d’état-major particulier du président de la République. Bref, c’est le « baroudeur africain » de Nicolas Sarkozy. La lutte contre « Al-Qaïda » est confiée à Bernard Bajolet. L’homme connaît bien la question du terrorisme. Avant de coordonner les services de renseignements à l’Élysée, il a été ambassadeur à Bagdad, puis à Alger. Erard Corbin de Mangoux, le patron de la « Direction générale de la sécurité extérieure (DG SE) », a moins d’expérience de terrain, mais il apprend vite. Depuis dix-huit mois, il a fait quelques voyages discrets en Afrique du Nord et au Sahel, notamment pour faire libérer plusieurs otages français. Et il a noué un contact privilégié avec quelques hommes d’État, comme le président mauritanien, Mohamed Ould Abdelaziz. Quant à la politique économique, elle est suivie par deux membres du cabinet de Christine Lagarde, Christophe Bonnard et Jean-René Cougard, en liaison permanente avec Ambroise Fayolle, le représentant de la France au « FMI » et à la « Banque mondiale ». La « zone franc », elle, est jalousement gardée par la direction du Trésor, c’est-à-dire par Ramon Fernandez -le fils de l’écrivain Dominique Fernandez, Rémy Rioux et Thomas Groh, le chef du bureau Afrique subsaharienne à « Bercy ».
Personnages de l’ombre ? Sans doute. Mais avec Christian Noyer, le gouverneur de la « Banque de France », ce sont eux qui gèrent le compte d’opération de la « zone franc » et supervisent les activités de l’« Agence française de développement », dont le tout nouveau directeur général, Dov Zerah, a été personnellement choisi par… … Nicolas Sarkozy. Loin des projecteurs, ils exercent le vrai pouvoir.

Attorney General Eric Holder on Face the Nation on July 11 gave lame excuses for the U.S. government's failure to hold a trial for the so-called "mastermind" of 9-11. The real reason the U.S. can't hold the trial is because the man they have is neither Khalid Sheikh Mohammed nor the mastermind of 9-11. It is all a pack of lies and they are probably just waiting for him to die so they can close the book on this sordid Zionist atrocity. Is Eric Holder working for the Zionists?

THE BLACK HOLE OF GUANTANAMO
An Associated Press news story of July 31, entitled "U.S. Stalls on Sept. 11 Trial for 5 at Gitmo", reported on the "black hole" in which the alleged mastermind of 9-11 has been placed. A black hole is a dark spot in the universe from which even light cannot escape. Why is the terror mastermind of 9-11 in a black hole created by the U.S. government?
As the U.S. military prepares for the first war crimes trial under President Barack Obama, its most high-profile case against the planners of the Sept. 11 attacks is stuck in political and legal limbo.
Canadian prisoner Omar Khadr, accused of killing an American soldier during a raid on an al-Qaida compound, is scheduled to go to trial Aug. 9 at the U.S. base in Cuba.
But Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the professed mastermind of the attacks, and four alleged accomplices are still sequestered at Guantanamo without charges. The Obama administration, after months of review, hasn't made a decision on whether to seek a military or civilian trial...
"There's no case, there's no judge, there's nothing," said Navy Lt. Cmdr. Richard Federico, a military lawyer appointed to defend alleged plotter Ramzi bin al Shibh. "They are back into the black hole."

This is a government scam I have reported on for years. Here is where I left off last February:
On February 7, President Barack Obama acknowledged fierce opposition to his plans to bring accused 9-11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) to justice in New York, but would not rule out such a trial.
David E. Klett, a retired professor of thermodynamics, had the real KSM in several of his classes. Asked about the photo (above) of the person said to be the terror mastermind, Klett said, "I did not recognize that person. I never saw that face before."
The administration says that it wants to prosecute Sheikh Mohammed and four co-defendants in a federal court in lower Manhattan, close to the site of the World Trade Center attack which killed nearly 3,000 people in 2001.
But the plan has faced opposition from local lawmakers and authorities who have balked at the huge costs of such a trial, while others have warned of perceived security implications.
"I have not ruled it out, but I think it is important for us to take into account the practical logistical issues involved," Obama said in a live interview from the White House on CBS. "If you have got a city that is saying no, and a police department that is saying no, and a mayor that is saying no, that makes it difficult," Obama said.
But he added: "we have not ruled out anything -- we will make a definitive judgement based on consultations with all the relevant authorities." New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg initially welcomed the idea of holding a September 11 trial in New York, but reversed his position last month, saying that a military base would make more sense as a venue.
"It’s going to cost an awful lot of money and disturb an awful lot of people," Bloomberg said. "Can we provide security? Yes. Could you provide security elsewhere? Yeah, and I mean the suggestion of a military base is probably a reasonably good one."
NO SURPRISE
I was not at all surprised to read that officials in New York City took David Axelrod aside and told him that the city could not allow the trial of Khalid Sheik Mohammed and other 9-11 suspects to go ahead. I never expected that this trial would go ahead in anything resembling an open court. It is clear that this trial cannot go ahead. The media discussion about the high cost of security is just the cover story. The FBI and the U.S. government do not want it to be exposed that a scapegoat has been used to push the fraudulent "War on Terror."
After a dinner in New York on Dec. 14, Steven Spinola, president of the Real Estate Board of New York, pulled aside David Axelrod, President Obama’s closest adviser, to convey an urgent plea: move the 9/11 trial out of Manhattan.
The Obama administration will not have an open 9-11 trial because it would expose the fraud that the person said to be Khalid Sheik Mohammed is not the terror mastermind of 9-11. He is, in fact, not even Khalid Sheik Mohammed. The person said to be KSM is a "feeble-minded" man named Ahmed Abdul Qudoos. He has been scapegoated and made to fill in for the real KSM, who was killed in Pakistan.
The real KSM studied mechanical engineering at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University.
The man said (by U.S. officials) to be Khalid Sheik Mohammed is clearly not a bright-eyed and articulate English speaking engineer.
Is the so-called KSM really Ahmed Abdul Qudoos?
The U.S. government cannot hold an open trial in the United States with the false KSM because there are people in the United States who knew and remember the real KSM, such as his former teachers in North Carolina. As I wrote in 2007:
Furthermore, the real KSM was a person who had traveled and worked extensively across Asia and had lived in many foreign countries, from the United States to the Philippines to Bosnia. With this level of education and foreign travel, the real KSM would have a much greater command of the English language than what we find in the transcript.
There were no defense attorneys or members of the press allowed to the secret hearing in which the military tribunal heard the confession of the alleged architect of 9/11.
"The Detainee served as the head of the Al Qaida military committee and was Osama bin Laden's principal Al Qaida operative who directed the 11 September 2001 attacks in the United States," the statement said.
“I was responsible for the 9/11 operation, from A to Z,’’ the detainee said through an interpreter, according to the transcript of the hearing. He also claimed responsibility for the 1993 bombing at the World Trade Center.
The detainee sat with an Arabic interpreter to his left and a U.S. military officer who was his official representative to his right.
"I not take the oath…" the detainee said in broken English about why he was not taking an oath in the court. "Just to explain for this one, does not mean I'm not saying that I'm lying. When I not take oath does not mean I'm lying."
"I understand," the tribunal president said.
But how can such meaningless gibberish coming from an unidentified detainee who has not taken an oath be seen by anyone as a credible confession?
No photographs accompanied the release of the KSM confession and there are very few photos of the person who is accused of being the terrorist mastermind of our time.
To see if the disheveled, hairy, and overweight person said to be Khalid Sheikh Mohammed resembled the mechanical engineering student that studied in Greensboro in the 1980s, I contacted the engineering faculty of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University.

(WMR) -- In the days before, during, and after Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Admiral Michael Mullen revealed the Pentagon has a military strike plan for Iran, part of that plan may have already been launched. WMR’s Lebanese sources report that a number of recent provocations in the region are being viewed by regional intelligence agencies in Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Jordan, and Egypt as being launched by the United States Joint Special Operations Command in alliance with the Israelis.
The presence in Beirut last week of Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict (SO/LIC) Michael Vickers has local intelligence sources believing the visit, timed just before a UN Report is expected to blame Lebanese Hezbollah for the 2005 assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, is part of a wider U.S. and Israeli program to destabilize the Middle East prior to a military attack by one or both nations on Iran.
Intelligence sources point to a series of unexplained incidents in the region that have ratcheted up tensions. On July 28, the Japanese supertanker, M. Star, reported that it was damaged by an explosion in the Strait of Hormuz between Iran and Oman. Local Omani Coast Guard officials reported the ship was damaged by a “freak wave” generated by an earthquake in Iran. Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, the owners of the ship, reported that the vessel, which docked in Fujairah, UAE, for repairs, was struck by an explosion from “external sources.”
There were local reports that a submarine was responsible for the explosion. However, the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain stated that no U.S. Navy ships were in the area. Israel, on the other hand, is known to have permanently stationed submarines in the Gulf.
On August 2, a series of Grad rockets were fired at the coastal tourist towns of Aqaba, Jordan and Eilat, Israel. A rocket fired into Aqaba landed outside the Intercontinental Hotel killed a Jordanian taxi driver and injured five others. A rocket fired into Eilat, on the other hand, landed harmlessly into a field. Two rockets splashed into the Red Sea and another landed in Jordan. Israel immediately blamed the attack on Hamas and said the rockets were fired from Sinai in Egypt. However, Hamas denied responsibility and Egypt said the rockets were not fired from its territory and that its heavy security presence in the peninsula detected no suspicious activity. Regional intelligence sources believe the rockets may have been a false flag provocation carried out by Israel and the United States with the cooperation of Jordanian intelligence. Suspiciously, Israel claimed the rockets were Iranian-made and were fired by “Global Jihadists.”
Tuesday, there was an outbreak of fighting between Israeli and Lebanese troops on the border. The shooting began after an Israeli patrol crossed into Lebanese territory and fired at Lebanese troops and civilians after the Lebanese attempted to repel the attack. Israel also reportedly disregarded warnings from UN peacekeepers to halt their movement into Lebanese territory. Three Lebanese troops and a journalist were killed in the Israeli attack.
The motivations for the Israeli border aggression may have been to seek a response from Hezbollah. Israeli bombing raids into Gaza this week are also seen as a move to seek a response from Hamas. The bombing raids were followed by the deadly rocket attack on Aqaba, an attack Israel blamed on Hamas.
The unexplained attacks on the supertanker in the Strait of Hormuz and the rocket attacks on Aqaba at the northernmost end of the Gulf of Aqaba, has increased worries about access to the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Aqaba through the Straits of Tiran. The U.S. Navy will undoubtedly use the fear to expand its presence in regional waters.
Tuesday also saw the bombing of a train in eastern Turkey’s Erzincan province by Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) guerrillas. No one was injured in the attack but eight freight cars derailed. The Turkish Intelligence Organization (MIT) has determined that since the break-down of relations between Turkey and Israel, Israeli commandos have been assisting PKK guerrillas in launching terrorist attacks in Turkey. The PKK attacks come from Iraq’s Qandil Mountains, a stronghold of joint PKK-Kurdistan Regional Government-Israeli attacks on Turkey. Overall security for the mountainous region and the anti-Turkish operations conducted in it are overseen by U.S. special operations forces.

Téhéran posséderait quatre missiles S-300
L’Iran dispose de quatre missiles destinés à doter les systèmes de DCA S-300, dont deux lui ont été vendus par la Biélorussie et deux par un vendeur resté inconnu, a annoncé mercredi l’agence iranienne FARS.
Début juin, le Conseil de sécurité de l’ONU a adopté une résolution décrétant de nouvelles sanctions contre l’Iran en réponse à son refus d’abandonner la production d’uranium enrichi. Cette mesure frappe notamment les livraisons de systèmes sol-air S-300 à Téhéran. Certains spécialistes estiment toutefois que les systèmes S-300 constituent une arme défensive, ne tombant donc pas sous le coup des sanctions.
Le système de missiles sol-air S-300 est destiné à la protection des grands ouvrages industriels et des centres administratifs, des bases militaires et des postes de commandement. Les S-300 sont capables de détruire les missiles balistiques, les missiles de croisière et d’abattre les avions à une distance de 150 km et à une altitude allant jusqu’à 27 km.

L’armée du Liban a riposté à une incursion de Tsahal dans le territoire libanais. Il est fait mention de la mort de 3 soldats et un journaliste libanais, ainsi que d’un gradé de l’armée israélienne. Par une déclaration en début d’après-midi (03/08/2010), Tel Aviv a continué à menacer le gouvernement et la Nation libanaise. Ce sont les premiers militaires tués depuis la guerre de l'été 2006.
Est-ce le début d’une nouvelle agression israélienne contre le Liban ? Ces provocations sionistes coïncident avec les rumeurs tentant d’imputer l’assassinat de l'ancien Premier ministre libanais Rafic Hariri à certains membres du Hezbollah. This week, the last piece fell into place. The National Research Council, part of the National Academy of Science, heavy on politics and light on science, announced that America was no longer able to track nukes threatening our shores. Their report titled Nuclear Forensics: A Capability at Risk, released last week, outlines the details of a secret study requested by the Departments of Homeland Security, Defense and Energy, specifically the National Nuclear Security Administration. The gist of the story is easy, if a nuke goes off in America, dirty nuke in Times Square, one in a container at a port, anywhere, America won’t be able to tell who made it. Not a word of the report is true. It is wild speculation and disinformation written in broad language with no hard science, written for a reason.
A powerful group within the United States, one with influence over the press and the ability to derail an investigation as was done with 9/11, has been “tasked” with laying the groundwork for a terrorist attack on America, one using nuclear material. This report, unneeded, and highly inaccurate was printed in the New York Times to provide “cover.” It isn’t just this report, the pieces are falling together around the world. The Wiki-Leaks story, pre staging Pakistan’s ISI as a terrorist organization, a story built out of almost no information but fleshed out with massive speculation by “operatives” in the press is part of the process.
The Defense Authorization Act of 2006 allows, “in case of a terrorist attack” for the president to declare marshal law, disband congress and rule by executive decree. With the suspension of habeas corpus by the Military Commissions act, also in 2006, America as we know it officially comes to an end the second a weapon of mass destruction in used. Only then will America learn who has been pulling the strings all along, who is scripting Wolf Blitzer and Glen Beck.
British Prime Minister David Cameron’s attacks on Pakistan, made from New Delhi last week, seen by most as a serious political blunder, are part of the narrative. We will get to more background on a younger David Cameron later.
Another piece of the puzzle involved a federal task force, Defense, Energy, FBI, descending on a warehouse in Greenfield, Indiana under the guise of a “records search.” This “Waco style” assault on a facility storing furniture for college dorm rooms was much more than it seemed. No case, criminal or civil, provided any underlying reason for the search.
Further, the bizarre tale of rumored missing nukes, illegally transported on a B-52 from Minot AFB to Barksdale AFB in Louisiana, a major Defense Department scandal, is meant to create, not only fear and doubt, but “plausible deniability” if a weapon is exploded inside the US. These, however, are not, by far, the only missing nuclear weapons America has to fear as we will get into later.
Two recent attacks, the “Times Square Fizzler” and the Detroit “Crotch Bomber” were both amateurish affairs except for a couple of things. Both perpetrators had strong ties to Israeli organizations, one actually employed by an Israeli-American financial firm, the other the son of Israel’s primary partner in their defense industry complex in Nigeria. None of this was reported or investigated once discovered. It was shoved under the rug immediately. When cursory investigations of both suspects showed travel histories only possible with significant help from an intelligence agency, both stories disappeared from the news entirely. It is as though everyone involved vanished from the face of the earth like the second person arrested in Detroit or the “well dressed Indian” who aided the “Crotch Bomber” onto the plane in Amsterdam.
LEGAL JUSTIFICATION FOR ATTACKS ON GENTILES
Conservative interpretations of Jewish law, currently being used to justify resettlement of Palestinians and even total removal of all non-Jews from greater Palestine and adjacent areas have long been used to justify acts such as the attack on the USS Liberty, bombings of US facilities in Egypt and, less openly, “false flag” terror attacks attributed to Muslims but performed by Israeli security forces. Rabbi Yitzhak Shapira and Rabbi Yosef Elitzur, seen as the ethical conscience behind the Netanyahu government have taken the following position as reported by Jonathan Cook:
“In the 230-page book, Shapira and his co-author, Rabbi Yosef Elitzur (The King’s Torah,currently Israel’s best selling book) argue that Jewish law permits the killing of non-Jews in a

wide variety of circumstances. They write that Jews have the right to kill Gentiles in any situation in which “a non-Jew’s presence endangers Jewish lives” even if the Gentile is “not at all guilty for the situation that has been created”.
The book sanctions the killing of non-Jewish children and babies: “There is justification for killing babies if it is clear that they will grow up to harm us, and in such a situation they may be harmed deliberately, and not only during combat with adults.”
The rabbis suggest that harming the children of non-Jewish leaders is justified if it is likely to bring pressure to bear on them to change policy. The authors also advocate committing “cruel deeds to create the proper balance of terror” and treating all members of an “enemy nation” as targets for retaliation, even if they are not directly participating in hostile activities.” (false flag terrorism)
This rationale allows deadly force to be used against Christians if their deaths advance the cause of Israeli security even if only through economic profit. Thus, if an attack such as 9/11 were to lead to America fighting wars against enemies of Israel or if, as in Afghanistan, Israeli companies were to profit from weapons or narcotics sales, any deaths of gentiles, no matter how innocent, would be justified by Jewish law as stated in the Torah.
Were an attack on the United States to bring that country to war against Iran, even if that attack were perpetrated by Israelis, it would be legal according to Israeli law, the same law being relied upon for justice in the attack on the Mavi Marmara.
More often however, attacks on Israel itself are believed to have been staged, not only to instill the population with fear and rage but to continue the “holocaust” tradition of Jewish victimhood as a justification for policies that have led to 62 vetoes in the United Nations by the US, vetoes against sanctions imposed against Israel for violations of international law.
We expect increased attacks on Israel, quickly tied to Hezbollah and Iran, attacks that will either involve no casualties or the deaths of either foreign workers or Russian emigres. This pattern has been used repeatedly, such as the March 18 “attack” killing a lone Thai ”guest” worker time to coincide with the visit of the European Union’s high commissioner for security, Catherine Ashton, a critic of Israel’s apartheid policy in Gaza.
On a side note, 400 children of “guest workers” are being expelled from Israel this week. Eventually all will be expelled, guilty of destroying “the Jewish character” through lack of “racial purity.”
When the US and Israel released Sharam Amiri, alleged Iranian nuclear scientist, we learned one thing. There is an inventory of Muslims, perhaps arrested, perhaps kidnapped, maybe lured into custody, rendition, imprisonment or “cold storage,” whatever you want to call it. Each one has an elaborate “legend” built around them, describing them as a “lone gunman” or “terrorist mastermind.” This is the group that will supply the names and photographs we will see after the next terror attack.
As Wayne Madsen described to us this week, this was the process the CIA and Mossad used to create Osama bin Laden from nothing. The organization we know of as Al Qaeda is, in itself, a false creation, an invention initially to serve as terrorist when we needed them and as enemies when we needed them too:
“Press clips gathered by the CIA and discovered in the National Archives’ stored CIA files point to an agency keenly interested in any leaks about the highly-classified CIA-Mossad program to establish Osama Bin Laden and the most radical elements of the Afghan Mujahidin as the primary leaders of the anti-Soviet rebels in the 1980s.
WMR [Wayne Madsen Report] has pored through the CIA files and a complicated picture emerges of America’s and Israel’s top intelligence agencies, in cahoots with Saudi Arabia, establishing financial links and carve out intelligence programs to provide manpower and financial support to Bin Laden and his allies in Afghanistan. It was these very elements that later created the so-called “Al Qaeda,” which the late British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook described as nothing more than a “database” of CIA front organizations, financial supporters, and field operatives. However, one component omitted by Cook in the Al Qaeda construct is the Israeli participation.”
A pattern of evidence is emerging that “cold storage” dupes and CIA/Mossad nurtured organizations may have had a hand in, not only the Mumbai attacks but the London and Madrid bombings as well. Additional trails are leading to attacks on American troops inside Iraq and Afghanistan and against security forces inside Pakistan, particularly against Pakistan’s ISI, primary target of press stories on the recent Wiki-Leak.
AMERICA AND THE “TORY NUKES”

There are two reasons to attack America’s “forensic capabilities” when it comes to nuclear weapons. A leak the press chose not to cover, one bringing Israel under scrutiny for egregious violations of international treaties on Nuclear Proliferation, treaties Israel has never signed, were brought to the surface recently. Back on September 22 1979, Israel and South Africa tested a nuclear device, an 18.2 kiloton bomb. This test in a remote area of the Indian Ocean was detected by America’s VELA satellite system and confirmed by acoustic sensors. A forensic signature of this weapon was developed, not only through optics but through particle emissions. When an identical weapon was detonated by North Korea on May 25, 2009, a question was raised. How did a nuclear weapon built by Armscor, an Israel company operating in South Africa, end up in North Korea?
This is the story of the “Tory nukes,” nuclear weapons purchased by Margaret Thatcher in 1991 from South Africa under a secret authorization describing the weapons as “cylinders.” Those involved in putting this bombs into special containers, transporting them to Durban and then off to a container storage facility in Oman from which they disappeared are now filling volumes. When the weapons containers which had laid unguarded for months in a container yard in Oman were forwarded to the United States for dis-assembly in accordance with treaty requirements, only concrete blocks were found. The disappearance has been directly tied to two arms traders who ran illegal trafficking for Israel and South Africa during the Iran-Iraq War.
The accused were business partners in the “Ollie North era” Reagan hijinks known as Iran Contra. The “thieves” were connected to the highest levels of, not only Israeli intelligence but the CIA as well.
Israel says Saddam stole the weapons.
As late as 2003, Tony Blair used this “tale” to back what Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg calls “the illegal invasion of Iraq.” Blair had financial incentives to back the invasion, several million of them, as secret letters leaked to the press but never printed have shown.
PRIME MINISTER DAVID CAMERON, DR. DAVID KELLY AND ARMSCORE
Back in 1990, a very young David Cameron, later to become Prime Minister David Cameron, was offered a free trip to South Africa, paid for by Israeli owned Armscor, a nuclear weapons manufacturer. Cameron was supposedly working with Dr. David Kelly investigating weapons of mass destruction in South Africa. In fact something much different was going on. On January 16, 2005, Tim Shipman, Defense Editor of the Sunday Express released the following story, one never reported in US papers. Today, Dr. David Kelly is dead, clearly murdered because of what he knew and David Cameron is in India carefully reading from a script written in Tel Aviv. This is the 2005 story from the Express:
”Dr. David Kelly, the weapons expert who died in mysterious circumstances after the Iraq war, may have been about to reveal alarming details concerning missing nuclear weapons. Sources familiar with Dr Kelly’s work with South Africa’s security services say he also knew damaging details of how nuclear weapons decommissioned by South Africa were lost in the Middle East in 1991……..

Informed experts who have contacted the Sunday Express claim the missing nuclear weapons found their way to Iraq. The claims raise new questions about the extent of Dr Kelly’s knowledge of British security secrets, which some insiders believe may have contributed to his death. Some believe he may have been silenced to prevent him revealing more secrets to the media. The South African weapons allegedly went missing in Oman on their way to be decommissioned in the US and may have then been smuggled to Iraq. A source claimed: “Dr Kelly knew about the South African nukes because he worked for research facilities there.
Over the last year intelligence sources in both Britain and America have told journalists they believe that whatever Doomsday arsenal Saddam Hussein had accumulated before the second Gulf War was smuggled into Syria before the Spring 2003 invasion.
Last month the Sunday Express revealed that MI5 investigators looking for details of Dr Kelly’s involvement with the South African government, seized his laptop computers after he died. The coroner charged with investigating the Government scientist’s death has said he will not reopen the case.”
While British and American troops stormed across Iraq in 2003, searching for these missing nukes, defense experts now fear they had been in Israeli hands all along, a secret Dr. David Kelly was no longer willing to keep, one that led to his death. The missing containers may easily have been transferred to the Netherlands, Nigeria or even the United States, perhaps even Indiana or Toledo as is now rumored. British police have raided the homes of many involved in the missing weapons, seizing computers, personal papers and “frightening the hell out of people.” Some of those terrorized are scheduled witnesses for the Iraq War inquiry.
ONLY AMERICAN DEAD CAN PRE-STAGE THE IRAN ATTACK
This summer, Turkey and Brazil negotiated a deal with Iran to remove any nuclear fuel that could be used for weapons development. It was exactly what everyone had been asking for. President Obama ignored it and pushed for sanctions demanded by Israel. Russia cancelled the sale of an S300 air defense system to Iran and voted to back sanctions against its ally, Iran also. The relationship between Tel Aviv and the Russian oligarchs, seen so clearly during the Jonathan Pollard spy scandal, had reappeared for public again though no news organization picked any of this up.
With secret Israeli bases, believed used for transit of narcotics from Afghanistan, ringing Iran, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and other nations in the region, and US supplies and munitions in place or being delivered through Black Sea ports, only American public opinion is holding up an attack on Iran, despite the fact that Iran’s president Ahmadinejad has requested an immediate conference with President Obama to “settle outstanding issues.”
UPSTAGING 9/11
Even though Iran is isolated, even from its Islamic neighbors, it has a substantial defensive capability. Iran can quickly destroy all gulf region oil production facilities and close off shipping to that region, an act likely to collapse all western economies in days. Militarily, however, Iran is unable to defend itself against the vast technological superiority of the United States. However, after a decade of wars with Iraq remaining, not only unstable but increasingly so, and the United States facing defeat in Afghanistan, the American people are unlikely to want to begin a new conflict, especially with an adversary much more powerful than either Iraq and Afghanistan and Israel as the only ally, a country the United States has no mutual defense treaty with and no ability to sustain conflict beyond its own immediate borders for more than 48 hours.
Earlier this year, Israeli military historian Dr. Martin Van Creveld announced Israel’s “King Torah” policy toward the “gentile nations:”
“We have hundreds of nuclear warheads and missiles that can reach different targets in the heart of the European continent, including beyond the borders of Rome, the Italian capital…most European capitals would become preferred targets for the Israeli air force.”
The legal justification for a nuclear attack is in place, part of Israeli law. The will to do so is there if such an attack can be pulled off and few doubt Israel’s ability who have seen the power of the Israeli lobby in Washington and have spoken of their control of the press, such as with the recent media castration of director Oliver Stone.
The tools are in place. Israel is believed to possess two Hiroshima sized nuclear weapons, weapons that can be used freely because the media is ready to claim them to be “stolen” by Muslims if told to do so. The third weapon was exploded by North Korea with the media blackout leaving Israel as the only possible source for this weapon. No nation has the power to black out a leak like that one, not a leak that exposes Israel as a rogue arms dealer, first to apartheid South Africa, then Libya and both Iraq and Iran during their war and finally North Korea.
The ground is prepared, America is now stripped of “forensic” ability to track nuclear explosions, so the cover story tells us. Israel still threatens the world with the missing nukes, weapons reason tells us they control. Any container in any port, any truck, any warehouse could hide these weapons, anywhere in the United States.
When it happens, the vast majority of Americans will find the trail left, Pakistanis, Iranians, all as planned. They will immediately call for the destruction of the Islamic world as is intended by Israel. The internet will be shut down, congress sent home and anyone mentioning that only Israel profits and that only Israel could have done it will be imprisoned, as intended.
They learned from 9/11. Too many questions were asked. They won’t make the same mistake again.

Prophet Muhammad prophesied the advent of an Imām who would emerge by Divine decree to lead the world of Islam at that time when the true Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary (peace and blessings of Allah Most High be upon them all), was about to return. The Prophet declared of that end-time Imām that he would arise from within the ranks of the Muslims: “How would you be”, he said, “when the son of Mary descends amongst you and your Imām would be from your own ranks!” (Sahīh Bukhāri).
An Imām in the religion of Islam is both a religious as well as a political leader; hence the office of the Imām is synonymous with that of Amīr or Khalīfa (Caliph). The Hadīth therefore prophesied that one (Islamic) government would eventually rule over the entire world of Islam, and that the Imām would be both the political as well as the religious head of that government.
This prophecy anticipated the present sorry status quo in which the Islamic Khilāfah (Caliphate) has been replaced by republican so-called Islamic States based on petty tribal nationalisms – Egyptian, Saudi, Pakistani, Arab, Malay, Punjabi, Bengali, Persian (Iranian) etc. African-American Muslims have even embraced Louis Farrakhan’s ‘black Muslim nationalism’. Some of them, such as Turkey and Bangladesh have even imposed secular constitutional bans preventing Islam from playing any political role in the affairs of the State.
In addition, these so-called Islamic republican States are all required to be members of international organizations such as the United Nations Organization, and to submit to the authority of those (non-Muslims) who control power in these organizations. Hence Muslims now live in a state of submission to non-Muslim authority. The political authority which ultimately controls the affairs of Muslims is no longer located within their own ranks. Rather, that political authority is located in secular governments which themselves are subservient to the authority of Security Council of the UN and the governing board of the IMF, etc.
But the prophecy also gave the assurance of an end-time restoration of that Islamic Khilāfah (Caliphate). This is a matter of supreme importance for contemporary international affairs since the Islamic Khilāfah (Caliphate) represents Islam’s conception of a State which recognizes Allah’s Sovereignty, in contrast to Europe’s secular model of a State which recognizes (blasphemously so) the people to be sovereign. The Islamic Khilāfah is also located at the very heart of Islam’s conception of an international order which respects religious freedom and recognizes tribal diversity while tolerating no oppression on Allah’s earth. The present European system of secular nation-States based on territorial sovereignty, national citizenship, etc. which has effectively destroyed the unity of the Muslim world, would therefore have to come to an end and Dār al-Islām would have to be restored with the advent of Imām al-Mahdi.
It is far-fetched to presume that such a momentous transformation of the world of Islam which would extricate Muslims from the paralyzing grip of the United Nations Organization, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank., etc., and which would restore the Gold Dinār and silver Dirham as money, can be achieved without an armed struggle for liberation. That armed struggle is confirmed in a Hadīth narrated by Ali (radiallahu ‘anhu) in which the Prophet declared that the Imām, who would be his descendent, and hence an Arab, would emerge not only to restore the Islamic Khilāfah but also to restore peace and justice to a world that would at that time be filled with injustice and oppression. He would therefore defeat all the forces of injustice and oppression prevalent in the world at that time:
“Even if only a day remains for Qiyāmah to come, yet Allah will surely send a man from my family who will fill this world with such justice and fairness, just as it initially was filled with oppression.”

The advent of Imām al-Mahdi will herald the restoration of the Islamic Khilāfah (Caliphate) and a Pax Islamica in which power in the world would rest on foundations of faith (in Islam) and would be used to punish the oppressor and come to the aid of the oppressed. The sunlight of freedom and justice, peace and happiness will therefore reach the Holy Land, as well as Kashmir, Singapura, Haiti, and elsewhere. It would also herald a new dawn in which the entire world of Islam would have to submit to the rule of an Arab who would be a resident of the city of Madinah in Arabia where Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) is buried and where Jesus would eventually be buried (next to him).
Even though Jesus has not as yet returned, and indeed cannot return until Dajjāl the false Messiah or Anti-Christ has completed his mission of impersonation of the true Messiah, there have already been several claimants to the office of Imām al-Mahdi. The last of these false Mahdis made his appearance in Sudan, and prior to that in Qadian in India, more than 100 years ago. The false Qadiani Mahdi went on to make the ludicrous claim that he fulfilled in his person the prophecy concerning the return of the true Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary. Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiyani established a mysterious sect known as the Ahmadiyyah Movement which has consistently found favor with those who have been waging war of Islam ever since a European Pope launched the European Crusades.
This essay suggests that an Israeli attack on Iran (and Pakistan), expected at any time now, is likely to provoke the emergence of yet another such person who would claim to be the Imām al-Mahdi. This is a matter of much more than passing importance for the followers of Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) since the advent of Imām al-Mahdi occupies a position of supreme importance in Islamic eschatology – both Shia as well as Sunni.
Since the mysterious emergence from within Europe’s bosom of Pax Britanica, and its successor Pax Americana, the world has experienced unprecedented political economic cultural racial and military oppression and injustice. While Muslims have always remained the primary target of these awesomely powerful forces of oppression, they have not been their exclusive target. The primitive peoples of the world, resident in particular in such “ethnically-cleansed” lands as USA, Canada, many parts of South and Central America, Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere have been literally wiped out like cockroaches. Muslims are now preparing themselves for the greatest oppression of all which they expect from the Pax Judaica that is about to replace Pax Americana. Indeed this writer recognizes Israel’s Pax Judaica to be the Daabatul Ard (or beast of the land) which is one of the major Signs of the Last Day prophesied by Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu ‘alahi wa sallam).
This writer is of the view that anyone who claims at this time to be the Imām al-Mahdi, would have made a false claim, and this essay attempts to explain why this is so. The Imām al-Mahdi will emerge only at that time, and not a moment before, when Allah Most High ordains that he emerge. And so the question we need to answer is, when will Allah Most High ordain that the Imām should emerge? The advent of the Imām cannot occur randomly but rather, must fit into a Divine plan. What can be that plan?
Since Allah Most High created Dajjāl the false Messiah or Anti-Christ and programmed him to impersonate the true Messiah, it follows that Dajjāl would not successfully complete his mission of impersonation until he rules the world in person from Jerusalem. It is only at that time when he has successfully completed his mission of impersonation that he can make a declaration to the effect that he is the true Messiah, and only then can he hope that members of the Zionist Judeo-Christian alliance would accept his fraudulent claim. However the members of the Zionist Judeo-Christian alliance are well aware about the prophecy concerning Imām al-Mahdi. Hence if the Imām were to emerge before Dajjāl makes his claim to be the true Messiah, the implication would be that such Jews and Christians could experience such a crisis of faith as could deter them from embracing Dajjāl as the true Messiah.
It follows therefore that the Divine wisdom would ordain the advent of the Imām only at that time when such an event would not jeopardize Dajjāl’s effort to successfully complete his mission.
Those like the present Iranian President who expect the Imām’s imminent emergence should know that he cannot emerge until Dajjāl has established his rule (from Jerusalem) over the world, and has declared himself the true Messiah. The fact is that Dajjāl has not as yet even emerged as ruler of Israel, and that Pax Judaica has not as yet replaced Pax Americana. The world may still have to wait for another two or three decades for these events to occur.
When Israel does launch an attack on Iran’s and Pakistan’s nuclear plants, it is certain that the Judeo-Christian Zionists would respond by placing unbearable pressure on USA, UK and NATO to join in the war in support of Israel. That war, as well as other possible wars to follow, would ultimately realize for Israel the status of ruling state in the world. Israel will then attempt to impose Pax Judaica upon mankind. Only when that has been achieved - and it does seem possible that it can be achieved, can we expect Dajjāl to appear in person in our world of space and time.
This essay warns of the possible loss of faith by many Muslims if and when Israel does launch an attack on Iran and Pakistan, and either Sunnis or Shia are subsequently deceived into embracing a false Imām al-Mahdi. That traumatic loss of faith can occur when the false Imām is eventually killed or assassinated, or he becomes a willing client (Saudi-style) of those now waging war on Islam.
Note: The terms Pax Britanica, Pax Americana and Pax Judaica refer to world orders over which Britain, USA and Israel ruled.
Pax Islamica on the other hand is comprised of Dar al-Islam or the world which submits to Allah’s sovereignty and which is ruled in accordance with Allah final law as revealed in the Qur’an. It is also comprised of Dar al-Ahd or the world which lives in a state of contractual peace and non-aggression with Dar al-Islam, and Dar al-Harb or the world of injustice and oppression which must eventually be liberated from oppression.

Massacre de Beni Messous 1997 : l’ordre venait du général Toufik

Sur la chaîne satellitaire «El Hiwar », dans l’émission «Biwuduh », l’ex agent du DRS Karim Moulay, est revenu dans son témoignage sur certains drames qu’a connu l’Algérie durant le décennie noire. Du massacre de Sidi Youcef à Beni Messous au assassinats de personnes connues ou anonymes, Karim Moulay a dressé un tableau de ce que les citoyens avaient subi des années durant dans l’Algérois.
Le massacre de Beni Messous :
Selon le témoignage de Karim Moulay, l’ordre de massacrer les populations avait été donné par le général Toufik. C’était un lieu idéal d’investissement pour la famille du général qui avait déjà des ateliers dans le quartier et qui avait besoin d’élargir leur business, surtout après avoir reçu beaucoup d’argent des banques et contracté des contrats juteux avec les Saoudiens et les Espagnols. Selon ses déclarations, le neveu du Général Toufik, le dénommé Abdellatif, était déjà installé dans les lieux avec trois ateliers et avait urgemment besoin d’extension.
« Abdellatif était un ami, je lui rendais visite souvent dans ses ateliers à Sidi Youcef. Mais un jour il m’avait dit, au moment ou il soudait les portes de ses ateliers, ne viens pas me voir entre le 2 et le 10 septembre en insistant la dessus», a témoigné l’ex-agent qui a rajouté que plus de 200 personnes avaient été massacrées la nuit du 5 septembre 1997, à quelques lieux seulement des casernes. Par la suite, le reste des habitants avaient quitté les lieux en vendant leurs biens à des prix vraiment dérisoires.
Mars 1997 sur l’autoroute Zeralda :
En mars 1997, sur l’autoroute de Zéralda, sept citoyens avaient été assassinés par un groupe terroriste islamiste selon la presse de l’époque. Aujourd’hui, Karim Moulay affirme sur le plateau de la chaîne El Hiwar qu’il était sur les lieux. Avec Abassi dit Abdelkader, son officier traitant, et quatre de ses acolytes, ils revenaient d’un bar et ils avaient décidé cette nuit là de dresser un faux barrage. Ils s’étaient, excepté lui, déguisés en islamistes, avec des barbes et des « kamisses » afghans, et ils avaient arrêté deux véhicules sur l’autoroute. Les sept passagers avaient été mitraillés après les avoir fait descendre de leurs voitures.
Selon ses témoignages, leur chef Abassi disait qu’en poussant la barbarie à l’extrême, nous aurons le soutien des occidentaux.
Assassinats :
Karim Moulay a aussi évoqué d’autres assassinats. Comme celui de Salah Djebaïli, recteur de l’université de Bab Ezzouar, le 31 mai 1994. C’est lui qui avait donné les indications à Abassi dit Abdelkader, mais il ne savait pas, selon ses dires, qu’ils allaient l’exécuter froidement à la sortie de l’université, à 500 mètres seulement de deux barrages des forces de l’ordre.
La journaliste Hayat de Bousaada avait été tuée par la même équipe parce qu’elle avait refusé de travailler avec eux.
L’étudiant Hamza Mohamed de l’Institut polytechnique d’El Harrach, un activiste islamiste, avait été lui aussi exécuté et c’est Karim Moulay qui avait renseigné ses assassins.
Un autre étudiant proche du FIS, le nommé Bedrane Mohammed avait été enlevé devant l’amphithéâtre M et c’était lui qui les avait emmenés jusqu’à lui. Depuis il avait disparu.
Son officier traitant, le sinistre Abassi lui avait confirmé l’implication de son service dans l’assassinat de Djillali Liabes, directeur de l’Institut des études stratégiques et ex ministre ainsi que dans l’assassinat de Hamoud Hambli, enseignant à l’université de Tizi-Ouzou. Karim Moulay a évoqué aussi d’autres affaires et les méthodes utilisées par le DRS. Il dira aussi que « j’ai essayé de quitter le DRS lorsque j’ai vu ce qu’il faisait réellement, mais Abassi m’avait dit : une seule balle suffit, la liste des victimes du terrorisme est longue ».

A report on November 15, 1998 by the Sunday Times suggests that this Institute "is working on a biological weapon that would harm Arabs but not Jews".

Israel is working on a biological weapon that would harm Arabs but not Jews, according to Israeli military and western intelligence sources. The weapon, targeting victims by ethnic origin, is seen as Israel's response to Iraq's threat of chemical and biological attacks.
A scientist there said the task was hugely complicated because both Arabs and Jews are of Semitic origin. But he added: "They have, however, succeeded in pinpointing a particular characteristic in the genetic profile of certain Arab communities, particularly the Iraqi people."
It is widely accepted that Israel has the largest stockpile of nuclear weapons in the region, and it is assumed that this applies to their stockpiles of biological and chemical weapons. A quick search on the web turned up a long list of articles on the subject, including the following:

Tests carried out by an Israeli secret laboratory recently killed four persons and other 25 have been reported wounded in Neis Zayouna district near Tel Aviv, an Israeli daily reported.
Israel flatly denied the report. "No person has ever been killed in a work accident at the Biological Institute since its inception 45 years ago," Prime Minister Netanyahu's media advisor stated today.
This just happens to be the Institute cited above. And if these deaths were due to field tests, they wouldn't be "work accidents". But it is evidence that something is going on in Israel that could be related to the development of these types of weapons. There is also this comment from Ariel Sharon, while he was still Foreign Minister. His attitude hasn't changed in the intervening years as his active sabotage of the so-called "Peace Map" shows.
Report: Israel developing biological weapons targeting Arabs

Last year the Pentagon warned in a secret report against the possibility of developing biological elements through genetic engineering to manufacture new weapons of mass destruction.
Within the same context, Israeli Foreign Minister Ariel Sharon reiterated that, "Israel reserves its right to repel any possible Iraqi attack."
At the conclusion of his meeting on Sunday with the US secretary of commerce, Sharon added: "Israel can defend itself and knows how to prevent being attacked."
A different type of evidence is found in the following written by the webmaster at konformist.com who published a good article on ethnic weapons in 2000 that we will look at later. He is discussing the reader response to the article:
What is interesting is that, though I received quite a few Emails from the Zionist community, none denied the accuracy of the story. Instead, they brashly admitted it was true, then added it was necessary because Israel needed to defend itself from its Arab neighbors. What is most telling is that many letters included references to Arabs that were derogatory and dehumanizing. That such a destructive philosophy is accepted by so many uncritically in Israel explains much of the vicious thuggery performed against the Palestinians over the last four months (not to mention the last 33 years).
These comments are completely in keeping with Sharon's, so we can put a high probability that Israel is developing something along these lines.
The progress on the Human Genome Project now makes it possible to target specific groups of individuals based upon certain genetic signatures. This is the logical next step in the progression of biological weapons. These weapons have been around for thousands of years. The Romans used to dump dead animals into the water supply of their enemies to inflict disease. The American "settlers" used small pox in blankets to target the Native American populations. The American Native population is still subjected to this type of attack:
Human Genome Project Opens the Door to Ethnically Specific Bioweapons
In this country, continuing a historic policy toward Native Americans, it has been revealed that the American Indian Health Service (IHS - funded by the Federal Government, who employ the doctors and nurses) coerced Native American men and women into forced sterilizations in the early to mid 1970s. The General Accounting Office (GAO) estimated that 3,400 people (mostly women) underwent the treatment, but their study only covered four of twelve IHS regions for four years.
Activists put the estimate much higher, at 60,000 to 70,000. This, coupled with the suspicion raised by the hantavirus outbreak in the Four Corners region of Arizona/New Mexico/Colorado/Utah keeps suspicion and fingers pointed at the federal government and at least some government policies toward the American Indian population. (Hantavirus is one of many "new" diseases that have come under suspicion of having their origins in genetic engineering or biowarfare labs.)
As reported in a 1994 Project Censored update, Utah's Dugway Proving Grounds biowarfare research site was also reopened despite local residents' protests over fears that the facility was originally closed because of safety concerns. Fort Dietrick, the site of the most notorious CIA drug and army biowarfare research in the United States now houses major research facilities of the National Cancer Institute, raising issues of conflict (or collusion) or interest.
But with the development of the chemical industry, bio-warfare took a new turn. Greg Bishop, in the article referred to above, first published at konformist.com, looks at some of the major points:

[T]his "theoretical possibility" was recognized over 25 years ago, if not before. It was originally brought to the attention of potential customers with the publication of an article in the Military Review of November 1970.
This journal for command-level military personnel was published by the US Army Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The feature, entitled "Ethnic Weapons," authored by Carl A. Larson, outlines the history, desirability, and possibilities of engineered biological pathogens which would affect only those races which historically have no natural defense against certain "enzyme inhibitors."
Larson is listed as head of the "Department of Human Genetics at the Institute of Genetics, Lund, Sweden" as well as a licensed physician. The Hippocratic oath was apparently not administered in Sweden when Larson received his accreditation.
Larson explains that many of the chemical activities and functions within the human body are caused by the interactions of enzymes. One of the more significant activities enabled by enzyme chemical reactions are the contraction and relaxation of muscle tissue. If the activities of these enzymes are blocked, the victim will be paralyzed, even to the point of death by asphyxiation.
Not coincidentally, the enzyme-blocking action of compounds called organophosphates were discovered in Germany in the 1930s when experimental insecticides killed the people unlucky enough to have used them. This discovery led to the mass production of a substance named "Trilon," later used to impressive effect in the extermination of groups of people the Nazis considered little more than insects. This substance and others of similar makeup became known as "nerve gas."
A concentration of 40 milligrams per cubic meter can kill in about 10 minutes. Stronger agents were later developed which can do the job with a single drop on the skin.
[...] Larson is even more explicit in a way that would probably never make it into the mainstream press. In a passage that would make Doctor Strangelove proud, he muses uncontrollably on the possibilities of genetically-sensitive chemicals to subdue enemy populations:
"Friendly forces would discriminatingly use incapacitants in entangled situations to give friend and foe a short period of enforced rest to sort them out. By gentle persuasion, aided by psychochemicals, civilians in enemy cities could be reeducated. The adversary would use incapacitants to spare those whom he could use for slaves."
This was published in a serious, staid professional journal read by US military strategists. He concludes with the statement that "the functions of life [now] lie bare to attack."
According to Charles Piller and Keith Yamamoto in their 1988 book Gene Wars, Larson's article was the first time that the subject of ethnically targeted CBWs was broached publicly, and that in "the military's private circles it was old news." The authors further state that in 1951 the Mechanicsburg, PA Naval Supply Depot was the site of a classified test using a benign organism delivered to personnel to mimic the behavior of an actual bioweapon.
According to documents declassified in the late 1970s, the site was chosen because 'Within this system there are employed large numbers of laborers, including many Negroes, whose incapacitation would seriously affect the operation of the supply system."
The black workers in the Depot were supposedly more susceptible to a strain of Valley Fever than were whites, but instead of using the actual virus, a substitute fungal organism was used. Valley Fever is more often fatal to blacks than to whites. It was recently revealed that the truth and reconciliation hearings in South Africa had presented witnesses who testified that scientists working for the apartheid regime had pursued efforts along similar lines.
Another possible example of field testing of ethnic weapons (or at least an interesting case for study by those interested in their development) may be the famed "Four Corners" virus, which seems only to affect Native Americans living in northern New Mexico and Arizona. Most reports identified or compared the disease to the Hantavirus, which killed victims relatively quickly following the occurrence of a prolonged fever and fluid which rapidly filled the lungs and asphyxiated the patient. Supposedly contracted through deer mice droppings, the mystery disease has claimed at least a dozen victims in the last ten years.
The most recent outbreak occurred this last summer [1999], coming on the heels of El Niño, which the major news media blamed for the renewed threat. Some area residents believe that the virus may have been released either accidentally or intentionally from a bioweapons cache at Fort Wingate, an army facility a few miles east of Gallup. The munitions storage at Wingate is now officially closed.
We learn that the work on such weapons was begun in Nazi Germany. The victims of these weapons were largely Jews. When Larson published his paper in 1970, "the military's private circles it was old news." Which means it had been discussed for a long time by the US military, most likely with the Nazis brought into the US after World War II via Operation Paperclip. Tests were carried out as far back as 1951 on Blacks working at the Mechanicsburg, PA Naval Supply Depot. An early form of ethnic specific weapon were the malororants, developed to control crowds (of people dissenting against the Bush Reich, perhaps?).

Almost sixty years ago, the US developed a nauseating 'bathroom odor' chemical for use as a weapon. But according to the Army, the old malodorant will not work outside of the US and Western Europe, because "it was found that people in many areas of the world do not find 'fecal odor' to be offensive, since they smell it on a regular basis."Therefore, according to the Army, new agents are needed for overseas missions. These new malodorants are to be specifically adapted for their victims. According to a 1998 document: "The objective of this work is the development of a comprehensive set of [malodorants] that can be applied against any population set around the world to influence their behavior."
The documents describe the Army research procedure. A group of subjects selected "based on a diversity of geographic origins and cultural heritage" is systematically exposed to candidate malodorants to develop "culture-response data" based on ethnic categories. That data is aggregated into "odor response profiles" that suggest the types and quantities of malodorants necessary to "elicit a favorable behavioral response" (i.e. incapacitation, panic, or flight) when used for crowd control on a particular ethnic group.
[...] Whether the malodorants work or fail, research on any ethnic weapon raises serious legal questions and could set a very dangerous precedent. If the Pentagon saw any major legal barriers to ethnic weapons it would not have approved the malodorant research. The Pentagon's conclusion that ethnic weapons are permissible must be challenged.
As horrible as these weapons are in their practice and in what they reveal about the people developing them, it was the work on the Human Genome that really opened the door to a new generation of bioweapons, weapons that could be fine-tuned to one's genetic make-up. We have been subjected to reams of paper and hours of air-time discussing the benefits of genetic research, the ability to target individual genes to "repair" them. Look at the flip-side:

A two-part story in the Washington Post on April 20 and 21 revealed that biological agents developed by the South African government during its apartheid days have fallen into private hands. Written by Post reporters Joby Warrick and John Mintz, the piece noted that unique, race-specific strains of biotoxins were available on the world market - for the right price or the right ideology.
[...] The top-secret program that Basson directed was called Project Coast, and it lasted from 1981 to 1993. The South African National Defense Force created it at a time when the white-minority regime was under increasing threat by indigenous black South Africans. Daan Goosen, the former director of Project Coast's biological research division, told the Post he was ordered by Basson to develop ways "to suppress population growth among blacks" and to "search for a 'black bomb,' a biological weapon that would select targets based on skin color."
[...] The Washington Post even noted, "Goosen says many scientists kept copies of organisms and documents in order to continue work on 'dual-use' projects with commercial as well as military applications." A May 2002 story on Project Coast in the Wall Street Journal reported that Goosen said he has been "visited by scores of people looking for 'stuff to kill the blacks.'" Race-specific weapons naturally are in hot demand among racists, so it's no surprise that South Africa's race-specific research is highly coveted.
[...] Reported links between Israel's ethnic weapons and South Africa's Project Coast are tentative; some would say tenuous. But the possibility of such links is terrifying, and justifies as much scrutiny as was focused on Iraq's imaginary arsenal.
It also appears that the anthrax incidents of 2001, in which five people died and 13 were sickened, may also have a South African connection. The Post noted that officials found evidence in a Frederick, Maryland, pond that may explain how the perpetrators of the deadly attacks used water to handle the lethal toxin without infecting themselves or loosing the anthrax spores.
On May 11, the Post said the water theory is the result of the FBI's interest in one person, Steven J. Hatfill, a medical doctor and bioterrorism expert who formerly worked for the U.S. Army, and who lists South African diplomas in diving and underwater medicine on his résumé.
A June 2002 article in the Hartford Courant reported that Hatfill also worked with a guerilla unit of the white-supremacist Rhodesian army from 1978 to 1980, when "an anthrax outbreak killed hundreds and sickened thousands of villagers." He also lived in South Africa, "where he completed various military-medical assignments."

Note the reference to the Great Anthrax Scare following 9/11, the ability to manipulate the anthrax virus without getting infected. And the connection of this to Steven J. Hatfill. Curious, isn't it, how the anthrax story just died when it was discovered that the strain used to attack Americans wasn't from a foreign source but came a military base in Maryland?
Anthrax Attacks Pushed Open an Ominous Door

Purchase, New York - On this first anniversary of the anthrax attacks, a number of conclusions can be drawn even without an arrest by the FBI. First, the strain and properties of the weaponized anthrax found in the letters show that it originated within the U.S. biodefense program, where the necessary expertise and access are found. Government officials recognized that the anthrax source was domestic less than two weeks after they learned of the letters, and nothing in their investigation has led them to say otherwise since.
One can also conclude that, given the origin of the anthrax and the warnings contained in the letters, the perpetrator's motive was not to kill but rather to raise public fear and thereby spur Congress to increase spending on biodefense. In this, the attacks have been phenomenally successful.[...]
Although biodefense has gotten a shot in the arm, it is important to understand that the goal of defending against bioweapons is not primarily public protection--which is largely impossible, as last year's attacks demonstrated.
It is rather "to allow the military forces of the United States to survive and successfully complete their operational missions ... in battlespace environments contaminated with chemical or biological warfare agents,"according to the annual report of the Department of Defense's Chemical and Biological Defense Program. [...]
Two weeks ago, I attended an informal meeting in Geneva where diplomats from six continents struggled in the face of U.S. Intransigence to map out a joint strategy for combating the global biological threat. The United States had demanded that a formal Biological Weapons Convention conference, scheduled to take place during two weeks in November, should instead disband in one day with only an agreement not to meet again until 2006.
To make sure that the American resolve prevails in this setting where international consensus is de rigueur, the U.S. demand was accompanied by an overt threat to disrupt any further proceedings with accusations that would make productive international action impossible.
At that Geneva meeting, the assembled diplomats, representing the political spectrum from our closest allies to declared enemies, were uniformly frustrated. They find it hard to comprehend why a country that has just been the victim of bioterrorism should stand in the way of peaceful efforts supported by all its allies to deter bioterrorism.
The following article suggests that the evidence for a link between the Israeli program and the South African program is neither tentative nor tenuous as the above would suggest. It is the same author writing earlier. Perhaps he found new info. Perhaps something else happened...
Double Standards That Haunt America's Foreign Policy

Goosen's comments jibe well with conclusions reached by South Africa's recently concluded Truth and Reconciliation Commission, which heard testimony that Wouter Basson, the director of the country's chemical-biological warfare program, conducted extensive research on weapons that exclusively targeted blacks.
Incidentally, the commission's concluding report noted that South Africa's chemical-biological weapons team received considerable assistance from their American counterparts during the apartheid era. And it's easy to see why: Ethno bombs are a dream weapon on a planet so preoccupied with ethnic conflicts. Of course, that's also why such weapons are so remarkably menacing.
[...] The article noted that the ethno-bomb claims were given further credibility by a report in Foreign Report, a publication of the respected Jane's group, that Israeli scientists used some of "the South African research in trying to develop an 'ethnic bullet' . . ."
Once more the thread comes back to the US: "South Africa's chemical-biological weapons team received considerable assistance from their American counterparts during the apartheid era".
So let's look more at America's links to the development of these weapons. We saw above that this started after World War II. But, in fact, there are links back to the Eugenics program started in the US at the turn of the century.
Human Genome Project Opens the Door to Ethnically Specific Bioweapons
The U.S. has a long history of interest in such genetic research. The current home of the Human Genome Project is the Cold Springs Harbor laboratory on Long Island, NY - the exact site of the notorious Eugenics Research Office that was started in 1910 by the Harriman family. The project's 1910 agenda included governmental imposition of sanctions on such human rights as reproduction, and on U.S. immigration, based on the alleged inferiority of particular ethnic groups.
The Eugenics Research Project established medical and psychological conditions that would qualify one for sterilization or euthanasia. Prominent advocates of the program such as the Rockefeller family, Henry Ford, and Margaret Sanger helped smooth the way for the passage of forcible sterilization laws in 25 states. These laws allowed the forcible sterilization of tens of thousands of people, mostly of minority status, during the first half of the 20th century.
So we have one policy, begun in the early 20th century, funded by the Rockefellers, Henry Ford, the Harrimans, many of the same people who were financing the Nazi Party in Germany during the thirties. The work goes underground after the Second World War until it reemerges as part of the new "genetic research".
Biological Warfare: Genetically-Engineered Weapons Cannot Be Excluded

It has long been rumored that modern biological weapons could be designed to attack specific vulnerabilities of particular ethnic groups. Early in the development of the US offensive biological weapons program Colonel Creasey, Chief of Research and Engineering of the US Chemical Corps, suggested that agents may be selected because of known susceptibility of the target population.
This shows that the differential susceptibility of different populations to various diseases had been considered at that time and, according to scientists at Defense Advance Research Projects Agency (DARPA), is continuing today.
Indeed ethnic-specific biological warfare predated the advent of the biotechnology revolution. Smallpox was almost certainly deliberately used against the Native Americans centuries ago and there are other examples. U.S. and British officials believe an ethnic-specific weapon would be used today if it became available during a severe conflict between two deeply antagonistic groups. [...]
Today, warnings are coming not only from the medical community, but also from other specially credible sources. There have been indications, for example, that the US Secretary of Defense is concerned about the possible development of genetic weapons.
In June 1997, Jane's Defense Weekly reported that Secretary Cohen "quoted other reports about what he called 'certain types of pathogens that would be ethnic specific so that they could eliminate certain ethnic groups or races.'" Then after a later interview with the Defense Secretary in August 1997, it was stated again in Jane's Defense Weekly that "he also continued to insist that the science community is 'very close' to being able to manufacture 'genetically engineered pathogens that could be ethnically specific'".
Early Accounts, Then Silence
In accounts during the 1980s of the possible development of genetic weapons, a frequent source of scientific data was a paper by Carl A. Larson, then head of the Department of Human Genetics, University of Lund, Sweden, published in the journal Military Review in November 1970. Larson's paper was mainly concerned with the possible development of a new range of chemical weapons, including incapacitants.
Individual differences in response to chemical agents had been known for some time, but Larson reviewed what was known of differences between populations in reaction to drugs and saw the basis of such population differences as genetic. Larson seems to have been pointing to possible future developments rather than near-term practical possibilities. The question is whether, almost 30 years later: have genetically engineered weapons become a practical possibility?
There does not appear to have been subsequent detailed open publication by reputable scientists of the application of modern biotechnology to genetically -engineered weapons until the 1990s. Then in 1992 the journal Defense News carried a report which noted a scientist arguing that genetic engineering may enable us to:
...recognize DNA from different people and attach different things that will kill only that group of people...You will be able to determine the difference between blacks and whites and Asians and Jews and Swedes and Finns and develop an agent that will kill only a particular group.
Shown this quotation in February, scientists within the DOD confirmed that defensive research was being done specifically in this area. Thus the threat would appear to slide along the spectrum from the merely theoretical through the potentially possible to the patently workable.
Such arguments have been set out at greater length in an appendix to the 1993 Stockholm Peace Research Institute's Yearbook. The most pertinent aspect of the appendix entitled, "Benefits and threats of developments in biotechnology and genetic engineering," reads:
While modern biotechniques are revolutionizing medicine and agriculture, the possibility exists of their misuse for political ends, for clandestine production and refinement of biological weapons (BW), and for future development of weapons of mass extermination which could be used for genocide.
Particular reference is then made to the possible misuse of knowledge gained from the Human Genome Project and knowledge about genetic diversity. The element of critical significance here is contained in the last sub-section of section VI where the question is clearly stated, "Can't genetic weapons be developed?" The answer is that if investigations provide sufficient data on ethnic genetic differences between population groups, it may be possible to use such data to target suitable micro-organisms to attack known receptor sites for which differences exist at a cell membrane level or even target DNA sequences inside cells by viral vectors... [...]
Flashback: Scientists' deaths are under the microscope
So we have governments financing the development of these weapons, envisioning them as the Ultimate Weapon in their battles against their enemies. Or should we say "Final Solution" because it is racially based. It makes targets of people because of their genes.
Note: It is governments that do these things. But when this is discussed in the press, where are our fears turned? Who are portrayed as the real villains?
Genetic weapons: a 21st-century nightmare?

Most of the nearly 30,000 scientists who were involved in biological research in the USSR during the 1980s are now out of a job because of the country's economic difficulties. Last year, some of them disclosed that they had been approached by certain countries which have shown particular interest in learning about microbes that can be used in war to destroy or protect crops, as well as genetic engineering techniques that could be used to make deadly germs for which there may be no antidotes.
One prospect that alarms arms control experts is that biological weapons will fall into the hands of terrorist or cult groups.
But they are already in the hands of the Israelis who have not ratified a single international treaty allowing inspections of their nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons. No, what is important is to vilify the invisible "terrorist", the "cult", to inculcate in the minds of the readers that the danger is widespread, invisible, and ready to pounce at any moment. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Yes. But be afraid because these governments are prepared to use them on their enemies...and that may well include their own citizens.
Mystery pneumonia is being caused by America's weapons of mass destruction: A theory

Could America's mainstream media be any more perfidious and derelict in its so-called reporting of the current so-called pneumonia epidemic among U.S. service personnel in Iraq and a few nearby countries?
A quick, informal survey of this week's coverage of the pneumonia story by our bastions of truth and enlightenment - CNN, Fox, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post - shows that while all covered the story, none mentioned Gulf War Syndrome which befell maybe as much as 20% of the 700,000 Americans who served in the 1991 Persian Gulf War (PGW) or depleted uranium (DU) a radioactive weapon of mass destruction (WMD), outlawed by international treaty and world courts, that was used exclusively and extensively by the United States during the PGW and that was used by the U.S. during the recent invasion of Iraq at 10 times its PGW rate.
Here's what the mainstream press does tell you: Army brass have dispatched teams to Iraq and to Landstuhl Army Hospital in Germany to investigate over 100 mysterious cases of pneumonia that have stricken American troops currently serving in the Persian Gulf. The puzzling disease has killed two and put another dozen or so in serious peril. According to the Army, a common geographical thread can not be established, a common bacteria can not be isolated.
True enough. A military spokeswoman goes on to say that those who have fallen ill have not been exposed to biological or chemical weapons, a bald-faced lie. DU is a chemical WMD of the most destructive and virulent kind. The documentation is in. And the connection between DU and a "mysterious pneumonia-like disease" was established over 10 years ago. [...]
The [British] government's microbiological research establishment at Porton Down spread bacteria through the London Underground system in the 1960s are contained in two files released to the public record office in Kew yesterday.
The trials, which were revealed in the Guardian last year, show how a powder compact filled with bacteria was dropped on to the Northern line and samples taken to see how contamination spread over the network.

Given that these new strands of bioweapons need to be tested, we might think that the recent outbreak of SARS could be a field test. The pneumonia from Iraq. But these are not the only ones. There have been so many of these new strains recently that the US Government has set up centers to watch for "Unexplained Deaths" in four US states:

Many new infectious diseases have been identified in the United States during the last several decades (1). Among these are AIDS, Legionnaires' disease, toxic-shock syndrome, hepatitis C, and most recently, hantavirus pulmonary syndrome; all caused serious illness and death.
In each instance, the disease was recognized through investigation of illness for which no cause had been identified. Retrospective studies of these and other newly recognized infectious diseases often identified cases that occurred before the recognition of the new agent; therefore, a more sensitive detection system may make the earlier recognition of new infectious agents possible.
[...] A more systematic public health approach for the early detection of unknown infectious agents is needed. This need was acknowledged in 'Addressing Emerging Infectious Diseases Threats: A Prevention Strategy for the United States', a CDC publication about emerging infections. CDC has established an emerging infections program (EIP) network to conduct special population-based surveillance projects, develop surveillance methods, pilot and evaluate prevention strategies, and conduct other epidemiologic and laboratory studies.
In late 1994, CDC funded four programs based at state health departments and academic institutions in California (Alameda, Contra Costa, Kern, and San Francisco counties), Connecticut, Minnesota, and Oregon. Some projects are conducted at all program sites and others, depending on local interest and expertise, at only one or two sites.
Surveillance for unexplained deaths due to possibly infectious causes (UDPIC) for early detection of new infectious diseases is one of the core activities being conducted at all sites.
Great way to track the field tests, is it not?
In looking over the press reports in the last few years, we see that Israel is being singled out, especially since the "suicide" of David Kelly. This is somewhat normal because much attention has been focused in recent years on the barbarity of the Israeli actions against the Palestinians.
As Greg Bishop writes above, the Germans considered the Jews "insects". Now the Jews turn on the Palestinians in the same way. So Israel, from the Balfour Declaration through today, is being set up and portrayed as villains, maneuvered into a particular situation.
What they do is odious. But is there something even more odious behind the curtain?
Relations Between Israel and the Apartheid Regime in South Africa
So we have looked at the issue of 'Ethnic Weapons', biological and chemical weapons that can be built to single out populations by their genetic characteristics. We have seen evidence that Israel may be building such weapons to be used in their final solution against the Palestinians.
The technology for this program came from the apartheid regime of South Africa, that is, the Boers who ruled over the Blacks until the last decade of the 20th century.
The close relations between Israel and the apartheid regime go back to the mid seventies.

Israel established a Legation in South Africa in 1952 and in 1974 it was upgraded to an Embassy. In 1972 South Africa established a Consulate General in Tel Aviv which was upgraded to an Embassy in December 1975. Israel continued to enjoy close relations with the Apartheid Government in South Africa.
While many African countries had seen Israel as an ally in the fifties and early sixties, another country struggling to survive in a hostile climate, after the wars of 1967 and 1973, their view had changed and Israel was now the neighborhood bully. South Africa had seen two of its neighbors become "Popular Republics" under Marxist-inspired "People's Armies" after the fall of the Salazar regime in Portugal in 1974. So both Israel and South Africa had a siege mentality, believing they were surrounded by enemies.
Africa, Arabia, and Israel: Forty-Five Years of Relations

[...] In the wake of the 1973 Yom Kippur War between Israel and the joint forces of Egypt and Syria, almost all of sub-Saharan Africa broke off diplomatic relations with Israel completely. And in 1975, the Arab League states succeeded in passing a motion on the floor of the United Nations General Assembly, equating Zionism with racism and South African apartheid. It passed in large measure to the near-automatic support the resolution received from the sub-Saharan African states.
Although there is evidence that several African nations wished to maintain covert relations with Israel, privately insisting that its public condemnation of Israel was merely an act for show, designed to placate the Arab states, to many Israelis, this hypocrisy was an unimaginable slight that could not easily be forgiven. It was said that, in response to this overwhelming rejection, "Israel pursued its relationship with South Africa with an element of vindictiveness."

Israel has also been connected with the mercenary forces deployed by South Africa against Angola and Mozambique. In the 1970s Israel aided the FNLA (Angolan National Liberation Front) proxy forces organized and trained by the CIA to forestall the formation of a government led by the MPLA (Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola-now the ruling party of Angola).
John Stockwell, who ran the CIA operation against Angola, recollected three arms shipments Israel made in cooperation with the CIA: a plane full of 120 mm shells sent via Zaire to the FNLA and Unita; a shipment of 50 SA-7 missiles (all of which were duds); a boat-load sent to neighboring Zaire in a deal that the Israelis had worked out with President Mobutu, even though the Zairian strong man had broken ties with Israel two years earlier.
South Africa's Nuclear Policy

The political changes in the Southern African region heightened the security concerns of South Africa. The end of Portuguese rule in Africa after the 1974 Lisbon coup and the subsequent accession to power of Communist regimes in Angola (MPLA) and Mozambique (Freelimo) enhanced the encirclement by Communist forces regionally. The mid- 1970s also saw the intensification of the anti-apartheid struggle within South Africa-in the apartheid government's perception, sponsored by the Communist forces.
Thus, perceiving itself to be encircled by Communist forces, the South African government promoted a militarist ideology legitimising the use of force by the state to counter that threat, codified in the concept "Total National Strategy" to coordinate its national security planning. This ultimately involved a nuclear deterrent capability.
The arrival of Cuban troops in Angola after the establishment of the MPLA regime provided the final stimulus. Defence Minister P.W. Botha spelled out the defence requirements to meet this challenge as "South Africa can establish a balanced defence force to defend itself against terrorism...and this we are fully able to do....Secondly, we must have a deterrent to be able to resist a fairly heavy conventional attack on South Africa." This statement was quite ambiguous; however, one could reach the conclusion that both conventional and nuclear capabilities would be pursued by South Africa. Ambiguity became the trademark of the South African nuclear policy in the apartheid era.
The attitudes of the two countries can be summed up by this comment from Jane Hunter, cited above:
It has also been said that those arms sales are understandable, given the striking similarities between the two countries in their day-to-day abuse and repression of their subject populations, South African blacks and Palestinians under Israeli rule; in their operating philosophies of apartheid and Zionism; and in their similar objective situations: "the only two Western nations to have established themselves in a predominantly nonwhite part of the world," as a South African Broadcasting Corporation editorial put it. That understanding, however, is somewhat superficial, and the focus on similarities of political behavior has somewhat obscured the view of the breadth and depth of the totality of Israeli-South African relations and their implications.
As she suggests, this understanding is "somewhat superficial", as we will see below.
Another factor cementing the relationship was the embargo placed on South Africa following the riots of 1975 and the international outcry over the death of Stephen Biko.
South Africa: 1962 - 1989
Access to Critical Events in Recent U.S. Policy Toward South Africa
The second period (1976-1980) deals primarily with the response of the U.S. government and the international community to the South African government's brutal reaction to the June 1976 student revolt, the death of Steve Biko (the leader of the Black Consciousness Movement), South Africa's subsequent security crackdown on opponents of apartheid and the adoption of the U.N. Security Council Resolution that called for a mandatory arms embargo against South Africa.
Because of this, South Africa was isolated, at least "officially", from the world.
One of the projects Israel and South Africa undertook together was the development of nuclear weapons. Hunter continues:
Israel's relations with South Africa are different than its interactions with any of its other arms clients. That Israel gave South Africa its nuclear weapons capability underscores the special nature of Tel Aviv's relations with the white minority government and begins to describe it - a full-fledged, if covert, partnership based on the determination of both countries to continue as unrepentant pariahs and to help each other avoid the consequences of their behavior.

There are few areas where the respective needs and advantages of Israel and South Africa dovetailed so perfectly as in the field of nuclear cooperation.
"The most powerful reason for Israeli willingness to bear the undesirable consequences of expanded and more open trade with South Africa may be her desire to acquire material necessary to manufacture nuclear weapons," wrote a military analyst in 1980.' To that must be added Israel's great desire to test the nuclear weapons it already had, and the attractions of South Africa's vast territory and proximity to even vaster uninhabited spaces-the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
Then at the point in its nuclear development where it was fashioning sophisticated bombs (devices which use less nuclear material but have infinitely greater explosive force than the "primitive" bomb dropped by the U.S. on Hiroshima), Israel would find it particularly helpful to observe the performance, explosive force and fallout of a detonated weapon.
Since 1984, Israel had been operating a plutonium extraction plant in a secret underground bunker at Dimona in the Negev Desert. Built by the French in the late 1950s, the Dimona plant also included facilities for manufacturing atomic bomb components. At the time of the 1976 accords, Israel was preparing to build an adjoining plant for the extraction of lithium 6, tritium and deuterium, materials required for sophisticated thermonuclear weapons.
Israel's reasons for devoting what had to have been a significant portion of its scant resources to such an ambitious nuclear weapons program - nuclear experts have recently ranked it as the world's sixth nuclear power, after the U.S., the USSR, Britain, France and China - have been variously offered as the desire to develop a credible deterrent to attack by its neighbors and the desire to substitute that deterrent for at least part of the costly conventional arsenal that Israel, with one of the world's most powerful military forces, maintains, and also (with much less frequency) as an "umbrella" over a partial withdrawal from the occupied territories.

Details about the Blaauw case are provided in the Africa Confidential article. ..... According to information released regarding the secret mid-1980s extortion trial of Johann Blaauw, a brigadier in the South African army, South Africa and Israel participated in four clandestine nuclear deals in the mid-1970s. Blaauw was found not guilty of trying to extort mining concessions from Minister of Mines Fanie Botha in a trial in 1989.
The first nuclear deal occurred in shortly after the Yom Kippur War in 1973 when "Benjamine," a member of the Israel Council for Scientific Liaison, asked Blaauw to acquire South African yellowcake which Israel could use for weapon-grade plutonium. ("Benjamine" is believed to be Benjamin Blumberg, the head of the Israeli Intelligence division Lish Ka l-Kishrei (Lakam).)
After discussions with Gen. Hendryk van den Bergh, head of the Bureau of State Security (BOSS), South African Prime Minister John Vorster eventually agreed to sell 50 metric tons of yellowcake to Israel. The deal was handled by Minister of Mines Fanie Botha, who replaced Piet Koornhog [Koornhof] after Koornhog opposed the sale. Uranium Enrichment Corporation Chairman Ampie Roux was also aware of the deal.
During his testimony, Blaauw said that "a high degree of confidence was developing between the South African and Israeli governments which involved the exchange of military technology, joint aeronautic ventures, and the supply of 'know-how' by Israel to South Africa in regard to the manufacture of weaponry."
There is evidence of a joint nuclear test carried out in the Indian Ocean in September, 1979. Ruchita Beri, cited above, writes:

On September 22, 1979, a US Vela satellite detected an unusual "double flash" indicative of a nuclear test, in an "area of the Indian Ocean and South Atlantic including portions of the Antarctic continent, and the southern part of Africa." In fact, some have claimed it to be a joint Israeli-South African nuclear test. South Africa denied that it had conducted a nuclear test. As late as March 1993, the AEC's Chairman, Waldo Stumpf, is reported to have said, " If it was a nuclear explosion, South Africa was definitely not involved.
I doubt that it was a nuclear [test] because no radioactive fallout was detected." Eighteen years after the event, Aziz Pahad, the Deputy Foreign Minister, confirmed that South Africa conducted a nuclear test in the South Indian Ocean in 1979. This admission has laid to rest the controversy surrounding the test.
We can see that the relations between the two countries were very close.
Not only were nuclear weapons part of the partnership, but strategy and tactics in dealing with their enemies, both internal and external were also an important part of the collaboration. Jane Hunter again:
The South Africans began teaching the lessons of Israel's 1967 war at their maneuver school, and Israeli advisers began teaching the Boers the arts of suppressing a captive population and keeping hostile neighbors off balance...
The white government's practice of domestic counterinsurgency combines outright military brutality with the extensive use of informers and collaborators. It is impossible to know how many refinements of these age-old techniques have been borrowed from the Israelis' occupation of the West Bank, Gaza, and the Golan Heights.
The Israeli system of village leagues is obviously comparable to the hated town councils imposed on segregated townships by the apartheid government. The collective punishment employed by the Israelis, such as the destruction of a whole family's home when one of its members is arrested as a suspect in an act of resistance, has lately been matched by the recent South African practices of sealing off townships, and assaulting entire funeral processions.
What is perhaps more salient is the South African victims' perceptions of Israel's involvement in their oppression and how readily that perception is communicated...
And when the population you are systematically trying to annihilate fights back, how do you justify it? Of course, you call it "terrorism". Hunter continues:
The Frontline States
The South Africans noted that their May, 1983 aerial attack (dubbed Operation Shrapnel) on Mozambique's capital, Maputo, was analogous to Israel's attack on Beirut the previous summer. One analyst, Joseph Hanlon, believes that one of South Africa's objectives in the attack was to see how its version of events would play in the media. It was received very well indeed, according to Hanlon, with the Western press accepting South Africa's claim that its attack was in "retaliation" for an ANC attack and that ANC "bases" were hit.
Instead, the South African Air Force hit a child-care center and private houses with "special fragmentation rockets," leaving 6 dead and 40 wounded. This follows the Israeli practice in Lebanon of speaking about PLO installations while civilians are the actual targets, and attacking with particularly heinous anti-personnel weapons-cluster bombs and phosphorous bombs.
The victims of South Africa's angst are not blind to the similarity of attacks-or motives.
President Samora Machel likened the Israeli Government to the Pretoria regime. He said that because of its inability to contain the fury of the Palestinian people led by the PLO, the Zionist regime is trying to transfer the war to other regions.
So reported Mozambican radio shortly after Israeli aircraft bombed PI headquarters in Tunisia in October 1985.
The model provided by Israel, which punishes every internal act of resistance and violent act outside its jurisdiction with a bombing raid on Palestinian targets in Lebanon-almost always refugee camps cynically identified by the Israelis as "terrorist bases" or "headquarters"-has served South Africa well. In January 1986, the white government's radio delivered a commentary on "the malignant presence" of "terrorism" in neighboring states and said "there's only one answer now, and that's the Israeli answer." Israel had managed to survive "by striking at terrorists wherever they exist."
In May 1986, South Africa demonstrated that it had assumed the right to attack its neighbors at a time and on a pretext of its own choosing.The chosen time was during a visit by the Eminent Persons Group of the Commonwealth of Nations, which was attempting to establish negotiations between the apartheid regime and its opposition. The victims-Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, all Commonwealth members-were chosen for their alleged harboring of "terrorists"; the real victims were South African exiles and an employee of the government of Botswana. The South Africans said they had attacked "international terrorism" and compared their raids to the Israeli attack on Tunisia and the U.S. attack on Libya in April 1986.
The attack was similar in style to Israel's 1985 attack on Tunisia. Initially, the Israelis had been threatening Jordan and perhaps because King Hussein of Jordan was at the time on an official visit to the U.S., the Israelis chose to take revenge for the killing of three Israelis (believed to be top Mossad agents) in Larnaca, Cyprus on the PLO in Tunisia.
Two weeks after its three-pronged attack on its Commonwealth neighbors, South Africa attacked the Angolan harbor of Namibia, firing their version of the Israeli Gabriel missile.
When Israel reestablished relations with Zaire (in 1982) and began to train Zairian forces in the Shaba border province, Angola had cause for concern. The leader of the FNLA had been Holden Roberto, brother-in-law of Zairian president Mobutu, Israel's new client. In 1986, it would be established that Zaire acted as a funnel for "covert" U.S. military aid for the Unita forces of Jonas Savimbi.
Dimona: Israeli nuke factory
In 1983, the Angolan News Agency reported that Israeli military experts were training Unita forces in Namibia. Since Zaire began receiving military aid and training from Tel Aviv, Angola has been ill at ease. Its worries increased after discovering that:
Israeli Defense Minister Ariel Sharon was personally involved in the organization, training and equipping of "commando" units of the army of Zaire, especially organized for missions along the borders of the RPA [Angola].
In 1984, the Financial Times (London) wrote of "joint Israeli-South African support for Unita forces." Other sources also report the transfer of Israeli arms and financial support to Unita.
In 1983, Angola's President Jose Eduardo dos Santos told Berkeley, California Mayor Eugene (Gus) Newport that an Israeli pilot had been shot down during a South African attack. The Angolan President showed Newport pictures of captured Israeli weapons. The following year, Luanda reported the capture of three mercenaries who said they had been trained by Israeli instructors in Zaire.
Israel has also been involved with the Mozambican "contras," the South African-backed MNR (Mozambique National Resistance or "Renamo"), which has brought great economic and social distress to Mozambique. Renamo has a particular reputation for ideological incoherence, being regarded by most other right-wing insurgencies as a gang of cutthroats. For several years there have been stories coming from Southern Africa of captured mercenaries of Renamo who say they were trained in neighboring Malawi-one of the four nations to maintain relations with Israel after the Organization of African Unity (OAU) declared a diplomatic embargo in 1973-by Israelis. And more than one report has told of "substantial Israeli aid" to the MNR, thought to have been funded by the CIA and Saudi Arabia as well as South Africa and former Portuguese nationalists.
Two countries, both with the mentality of the "besieged", begin carrying out attacks against their neighbors under the cover of "defence". Sometimes "to see how its version of events would play in the media".
In fact, it looks as if they were field-testing the strategies and tactics that the Bush Reich is now imposing upon the US population and the rest of the world.
The links between Israel, the apartheid regime, and the CIA are well-established. It is not too much to suspect that this information was being shared by the intelligence agencies of the three countries.
But as we are trying to see "behind the scenes", as it were, we leave you with one last item to reflect upon. Remember a few years ago how the anti-globalization forces were growing stronger? Remember the Conference Against Racism held in South Africa? Remember how Israel was becoming isolated because of its butchering of the Palestinians in the period following Sharon's provocative visit to the Temple Mount in September 2000?
Israel and US walk out of UN conference on racism

The joint US-Israeli walkout from the United Nations conference on racism in Durban, South Africa was something of a foregone conclusion. It was a stage-managed affair, the purpose of which was to portray all opposition to the Zionist state's persecution of the Palestinians as inherently racist.
The original draft resolution to the UN conference stated its "deep concern" at the "increase of racist practices of Zionism and anti-Semitism" and spoke of the emergence of "movements based on racism and discriminatory ideas, in particular the Zionist movement, which is based on racial superiority." It made direct criticisms of Israeli repression against the Palestinians on the West Bank as a "new kind of apartheid, a crime against humanity."
The US and Israel insisted on the removal of any direct reference to Israel.
[...] Israel has also achieved some success in winning a more friendly response from Russia, which is again seeking to challenge US domination of Middle Eastern affairs by offering itself as an honest broker between Israel and the Arab regimes. During the Durban conference Sharon visited Moscow for talks with President Putin to discuss the common threat posed by Islamic terrorism - Sharon has even indicated sympathy for Russia's bloody suppression of Islamic rebel forces in Chechnya - the possibility of a further one million Jewish immigrants from Russia to Israel, armaments and other trade deals.
[...]Shimon Samuels, the head of the Jewish caucus in Durban, declared, "We saw an NGO document that would have made [Hitler's Nazi Party propaganda chief] Goebbels happy. And now it is clear that we are going to see, at the end of the government conference, resolutions that can be called the UN's Mein Kampf."
Mordechai Yedid, Israel's official spokesman at the conference, insisted there could be no condemnation of Israel in the resolution. He told the plenary meeting prior to the US-Israeli departure, "anti-Zionism, the denial of Jews the basic right to a home, is nothing but anti-Semitism, pure and simple." Yedid derided the Arab regimes proposals to criticize Israel's treatment of the Palestinians as "a group of states for whom the terms 'racism', 'discrimination', and even 'human rights' simply do not appear in their domestic lexicon". The UN resolution, he continued, was "the most racist declaration in a major international organization since World War Two".
His remarks prompted a walkout by Egypt's Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher, who represents one of the most pro-US of all the Arab states.
Announcing its withdrawal from the conference, US Secretary of State Colin Powell denounced any attempt to single out "only one country in the world, Israel, for censure and abuse'" and any suggestion that apartheid existed in Israel. For his part, Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres proclaimed, "We were portrayed in an insulting and baseless manner as a colonial nation... The Arab League, all of it, has come out against peace."
The right-wing media in Israel marched to the same tune. An article in the September 4 Jerusalem Post by Yossi Olmert described the Durban conference as "the mirror image of the Nuremberg rallies, in which the Nazis propagated their anti-Jewish messages, striving hard to delegitimise the Jews, as an inevitable step leading to their eventual liquidation." He conceded reluctantly that "not all the participants in Durban are Nazis, maybe not even a majority of them, but too many are, and they clearly give this shameful gathering its true character".
We wonder what Sharon was discussing with Putin, aside from the "common threat posed by Islamic fundamentalism".
Did you happen to notice the date?
Five days latter the world would explode. The field trials carried out for thirty years by the Israelis and South Africans would be implemented throughout the world. The battle against "terrorism" would become the justification for imposing the New American Tyranny on the world.
Coincidence? We think not.

Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence agency, or ISI as it is popularly known, is seen as their nemesis by those who have tried to undermine the security interests of the country one way or the other. It is no wonder then that in past few years the Americans unleashed a strong ISI-bashing campaign, with India following suit.
The Americans made no bones about their dislike for this agency, blaming it for working against their interests in Afghanistan. The Indians also see an ISI agent behind every rock in Kashmir and in Afghanistan where they are trying to dig their heels. They do not hesitate to pin on ISI the blame for the freedom struggle in Kashmir or for acts of terrorism by Indian extremists. Until recently the Karzai government dominated by the anti-Pakistan Northern Alliance also remained hostile to ISI.
Not too long ago, under intense American pressure the weak Zardari government made an unsuccessful attempt at neutralizing and subduing this agency in disregard to the existing sensitive regional security environment, by moving it out of the army control and placing it under the controversial and embattled Zardari loyalist interior minister - Rehman Malik. This did not succeed for a simple reason. The role of ISI as the eyes and ears of the Pakistan’s military - the bedrock of country’s security, is critical particularly at a time when the country faces multiple threats to its security.
Washington's darling in the Afghan-Soviet war
Ironically, this is the same ISI that was Washington’s darling during the 1980s when it was master minding the jihad against invading Soviet forces in Afghanistan. The role that ISI then played was congruent with American interests. The defeat of the Soviet Union would have meant realization of an American dream - avenging the humiliation of Vietnam. They held ISI in high esteem for its competence and professionalism and gladly funneled arms and funds to the Afghan mujahedeen through it. The ISI strategized the resistance and organized and trained the mujahedeen fighters, working in close collaboration with the CIA and the mujahedeen leaders, forcing the Soviets to retreat.
But as soon as the Americans had negotiated a quid pro quo - Russian withdrawal from South America in exchange for safe Soviet exit from Afghanistan, they disappeared in the middle of the night leaving Afghanistan in a quandary. The political turmoil that followed created chaos and instability owing to the failure of mujahedeen leadership, presenting as a result a security nightmare for Pakistan.
Taliban-US-Pakistan relations and the Indian Threat
In this chaos a group of young Afghan religious students, many of them former fighters from the resistance, calling themselves Taliban (in Pushto language Taliban means students), swept through the country with popular support to establish their rule. Interested to keep their presence alive, the Americans maintained contacts and supported them, ignoring their orthodox beliefs, their harsh rule and even the presence of Al Qaeda in their midst. This continued until it was time for the Americans to overthrow their government in order to serve the changing American interests.
While the Taliban government was in control, Pakistan too maintained friendly relations with them in the interest of keeping its western border secure, extending whatever support it could. The ISI played a role through the contacts it had developed during war against the Soviets.
In the wake of 9/11 things began to change. Having invaded Afghanistan in the name of war on terror, branding Taliban as brutes and their resistance as terrorism, the Americans wanted the Pakistan army and the ISI to join the war.
This posed a serious security concern for Pakistan. It could destabilize the Pak-Afghan border and strain relations with the Pashtun tribes on both sides of the Durand Line, the British drawn boundary that cut through the Pashtun region to divide British India and Afghanistan and which Pakistan had inherited. The fact that Pakistan’s border region, called Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) is autonomous where the writ of the Pakistan Government does not prevail made matters more complex.
Pakistan’s military doctrine is based primarily on meeting the main threat from India on its eastern border while maintaining a peaceful border with Afghanistan in the west. A direct conflict with the Taliban would have forced Pakistan to divert its military assets from eastern to the western front, thus thinning out its defenses against India. This was the last thing Pakistan wanted to do because of its unfavorable ratio of 1:4 against India in terms of conventional forces. Understandably, President Musharraf was unwilling to do the American bidding.
U.S. projection of its military failures onto Pakistan
There always is a problem with powers that begin to act in imperialistic fashion. Their vision of the world becomes colored. They tend to believe that pursuit of their imperialist designs takes precedence over the national interests of those who cannot stand up to them, even if that means compromising their own national and security interests. America had also been behaving as one such imperial power and treated its smaller allies more like colonies. President Musharraf was threatened that in case of noncompliance with America’s wishes, “Pakistan would be bombed into the stone-age”. Musharraf was coerced into conceding to American demands.
Despite the state-of-the-art surveillance equipment and military hardware, the US and NATO forces failed to stop the Taliban fighters from moving back and forth into the unmarked Pak-Afghan border that passes through a treacherous mountainous region to regroup and strike on the invading foreign troops. The American commanders reacted by demanding that the Pakistan army engage these fighters and seal the border. Those with even the slightest knowledge of the area would know that the Americans were asking for the moon. This was physically impossible.
Pakistan army’s operations failed. In the process it earned a severe backlash from the local tribes who resented army’s action against their kinsmen from across the border who sought refuge in their area, as it violated the old tribal custom of providing sanctuary to any one who asked for it, even it was an enemy. The Pakistan army paid a heavy price. More soldiers died in this action than the combined number of casualties that the US and NATO troops have suffered in Afghanistan so far.
President Musharraf under advice of his army commanders and the intelligence community called off the action and resorted to persuasion instead. Through jirgas (assembly of tribal elders) effort was made for the tribesmen to voluntarily stop the influx of Taliban fighters. It didn’t succeed either. This was not to the liking of the American commanders. They blamed the ISI for working against their interests.
Washington accuses the ISI of complicity with insurgents
Washington and the American media frequently alleged that elements within ISI were maintaining contacts with the Taliban and attributed the failure of American troops in combating the Taliban to these contacts. Such allegations were also found to be part of the raw, unverified and even fabricated field reports ‘leaked’ in Afghanistan recently and splashed in the western media. The Americans have in the past also described the ISI to be out of control and demanded of the Pakistan government to purge the agency of Taliban sympathizers.
This is ridiculous. Firstly, ISI is a military organization operating under strict organizational control and discipline where officers are rotated in the normal course. It functions according to a defined mandate, unlike armed forces in some other countries and unlike the CIA which is known to be an invisible government on its own. Above all, Pakistan and its military are committed to weeding out religious extremism as a matter of state policy.
Secondly, if the American troops are so incapable of overcoming a rag tag army of Taliban and if the complicity of ISI with the Taliban can be instrumental in changing the course of the American war, then it is a sad day for America as a super power and the strength of NATO forces becomes questionable.
Thirdly, in the world of intelligence, contacts are kept even with the enemy and at all times. CIA keeps contacts within Russia and other hostile countries. Israel, the great American ally, spies on America itself. It is common for all intelligence agencies to do this in the security interests of their countries. Why then should America expect an exception to be made in case of ISI? Why should contacts that ISI developed with the mujahedeen and the Taliban earlier, and which if it does still maintain, become a source of such great concern for the American administration?
Demanding that the ISI subordinate Pakistan security to U.S. interests.
It is strange that America expects ISI to serve the American agenda instead of Pakistan’s interests first. One cannot forget that the Americans have a long history of abandonment of friends and allies and when they repeat this in Afghanistan citing their own national interest, despite their promises to the contrary, why should Pakistan be expected to be caught with pants down? Why Pakistan’s military and the intelligence agency should be expected to abdicate their duty and not do what is necessary to ensure Pakistan’s security in the long term?
It has often been argued that America expects Pakistan to be actively engaged in the Afghan war in return for the military assistance it provides. The answer is quite simple. The American establishment is doing all that needs to be done in support of its own war and not for the love of Pakistan. The war is theirs, not Pakistan’s. Pakistan should do and is doing what is necessary and feasible, without jeopardizing its own security.
As for the assistance, bulk of the $10 billion that America gave in the past and was branded as “aid” was in fact the reimbursement of expenses that Pakistan had already incurred in supporting the war effort. The rest was to meet Pakistan’s needs for operations in the border areas and for fighting terrorism that arose out of the war. The Americans still owe $35 billion to reimburse the losses Pakistan has incurred due to this war. As for the F16s that Pakistan is getting from the US, it pays for them, despite strict restrictions over their usage.
The Indian-Israeli attempt to destabilize Pakistan
While Americans had their issues with ISI, the Indians and Israelis began having their own. The agency exposed the growing Indian and Israeli confluence in Afghanistan to destabilize Pakistan. This happened right under the nose of the Americans and obviously not without their knowledge and consent. India having deployed its troops in the name of infra-structure development in league with Karzai government and with American funding and having established seven consulates along the sparsely populated Pak-Afghan border was engaged in heavily bribing the influential but ignorant and susceptible tribal leaders to spread disaffection among the local tribesmen against Pakistan.
Evidence was also unearthed by ISI about how the Indians bought the loyalties of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a grouping of Pakistani tribesmen from FATA and Uzbek fighters from previous wars who settled in the region. The TTP were influenced by the same orthodox religious beliefs as the Taliban in Afghanistan and were active in propagating them in their own areas. They were recruited to launch terror activities in the urban centers of Pakistan, including the capital Islamabad, and were funded, trained and equipped in Afghanistan jointly by the Indian, Israeli and Afghan intelligence agencies. A group from amongst them managed to gain control of Swat area adjoining FATA through coercion of the local population, which was later cleared by the Pakistan army after a major surgical intervention.
The ISI also laid bare strong physical evidence of Indian involvement in supporting insurgency in Balochistan by way of funding, training and equipping misguided and disgruntled Baloch elements grouped under various names including the Balochistan Liberation Army that was led by the fugitive grandson of the notable Bugti tribal chief – Akbar Bugti. His comings and goings in the Indian consulate at Kandahar and the Indian intelligence HQ in Delhi were photographed and his communications intercepted. Numerous training camps in the wilderness of Balochistan were detected where Indian trainers imparted training in guerilla warfare and the use of sophisticated weapons, which otherwise could not be available to the Baloch tribesmen. Flow of huge funds from Afghan border areas to the insurgents was detected that was traced back to the Indian consulates.
Summary and conclusion
The objective of the TTP, and behind the scene that of the Indians and the Israelis, was to make the world believe that Pakistan was under threat of capitulating to terrorist and insurgent elements who were about to take control of Pakistan’s nuclear assets. Their goal: to denuclearize Pakistan through foreign intervention.
These efforts have not succeeded. Undoubtedly, the army and the ISI played a crucial role in foiling the plots of subversion in Balochistan and the Pashtun region and exposing the foreign hands involved, including those of CIA, RAW, Mossad, RAMA and MI6. Terrorism may not yet be eliminated but Pakistan faces no existential threat.
It should be no surprise to the Americans, Indians and the Israelis if they find in ISI an adversary to reckon with. It is also not surprising that the ISI is in their perception, a rogue organization, for it has stood between them and Pakistan’s national security interests. Their frustration and ire, therefore, is understandable.

Ils sont reconduits à leur domicile où près d’une vingtaine d’autres policiers armés et en civil – oui je dis bien 20 ! – firent tous irruption dans la maison en fouillant dans le moindre des recoins, pendant que mon fils et son épouse étaient sommés de ne pas bouger. Au bout d’environ une heure, après avoir saisi des documents professionnels de mon fils – factures, avis bancaires, etc.. – ainsi que 3 ordinateurs, l’équipe des policiers se retira en emmenant mon fils chez le Juge, ainsi qu’ils l’ont précisé à ma belle-fille.
Dès que j’ai pris connaissance des faits, j’ai immédiatement alerté notre Consulat en charge de Barcelone, ainsi qu’à toutes fins utiles, M. Boualem Bessaïeh, président du Conseil Constitutionnel, qui est un ami de longue date de notre famille.
Le mercredi 29 Septembre vers 14 heures, l’avocat de mon fils Me Xavier VIADA m’informe que celui-ci va être transféré dans la soirée à Madrid, devant un Juge anti-terroriste, en raison de l’accusation de « blanchiment d’argent » dont il est l’objet ; accusation qui repose sur le fait qu’il a échangé, sur le marché informel de devises dont tout le monde connait l’existence à Alger, l’équivalent de 60.000 Euros en Dinars pour les transférer sur Barcelone, somme en réalité destinée à compléter l’achat d’un engin des TP acquis en Europe. Opération de change effectuée par l’intermédiaire du nommé Tewfik MAZZI, connu sur la place d’Alger et qui a eu récemment des démêlés avec la Justice Espagnole.
En tant que père de Mohamed-Omar DEHBI, j’accuse formellement devant Dieu et devant les Hommes, les Services de Sécurité de mon pays, d’avoir monté une cabale contre mon fils et qui me vise personnellement, du fait de ma qualité de citoyen-opposant, qui dénonce régulièrement et depuis des années, le caractère illégitime et mafieux du régime en place à Alger En particulier en publiant dans mes blogs ou dans d’autres sites, des articles ou des commentaires accusateurs en ligne, dénonçant ce régime. Qu’il s’agisse de l’impunité scandaleuse de certains crimes imprescriptibles – comme entre autres, les massacres non élucidés de Bentalha, de Raïs, de Relizane ou de Béni-Messous – perpétrés durant la décennie noire (1990 – 1999). Ou qu’il s’agisse des scandales financiers à répétition où l’on assiste à un pillage organisé, en termes de milliards de dollars, du patrimoine national.
Je demande solennellement aux Autorités Judiciaires d’Espagne, d’examiner sereinement et scrupuleusement les accusations portées contre mon fils Mohamed-Omar et de ne pas se laisser manipuler par un régime politique lui-même moralement discrédité de toutes parts et qui n’en est pas à sa première manipulation. Ni certainement à sa dernière,…toujours au nom de la lutte contre ce qu’on appelle le « terrorisme international » un prétexte qui est devenu pour certains Etats – y compris dans l’Europe censément démocratique – une mine inépuisable d’alibis, justifiant souvent, les pires atteintes aux Droits de l’Homme et aux Libertés publiques.
J’en appelle à la conscience et à la réaction solidaire de l’ensemble des citoyens ordinaires et des Organisations humanitaires à travers le monde, quelles qu’en soient, la nationalité, l’idéologie ou la religion, pour dénoncer cette lâche manipulation et exiger la Justice pour mon fils. Juste la Justice.
A commencer par donner la plus la plus large diffusion à cette prise à témoin.

Merci de tout coeur à tous ceux, hommes et femmes qui ont soutenu notre famille durant ces trois journées noires. Trois journées noires où l’on a pu mesurer toute la lâcheté et toute l’ignominie d’une presse aux ordres, prompte à mordre et à souiller les citoyens honnêtes qui gagnent proprement leur vie, à la sueur de leur travail ; des citoyens honnêtes qui n’ont bénéficié eux, ni des largesses d’un pouvoir corrompu et corrupteur, ni des « crédits » bancaires portant sur des milliards jamais remboursés, ni de lignes de crédit de plusieurs millions de Dollars qui ont fondé certaines fortunes insolentes, à l’abri de tout contrôle et de tout audit public…. Une presse qui se qualifie impudemment d’ « indépendante », qui s’est jetée, sur ordre de ses maîtres, sur cette arrestation rocambolesque digne des plus mauvais films de série C, comme une meute sur un os. Du quotidien Liberté à El-Watan, en passant par Al-Khabar et d’autres feuilles de la même farine. On avait presque l’impression à les lire, d’entendre les frottements de satisfaction de leurs mains sales. Sales, non pas de l’encre noble des plumes au service de la Vérité et de la Justice, mais de la suie noire du mensonge, de la calomnie et de la désinformation, au service d’un pouvoir criminel, illégitime et corrompu.
Qu’est-ce qu’on n’a pas pu lire comme inepties, les unes parlant de « blanchiment d’argent » les autres de « financement d’Al Qaida du Maghreb » pour une question de 60.000 Euros, régulièrement transférés. Une somme qui représente presque de l’argent de poche pour certains enfants dorés de la mafia du pillage. Souvenons-nous juste des 20.000 Euros trouvés en possession du fils d’un ministre pourri, en villégiature en Suisse, durant l’été de l’année passée…..
Terrorisme, Islamisme, Al-Qaïda, blanchiment d’argent. Voilà des mots magiques avec lesquels vous pouvez envoyer en taule votre voisin, quand il stationne sa voiture à la place de la vôtre place au bas de votre immeuble… A la condition nécessaire et suffisante toutefois : que cela se passe, comme le dit notre frère Si Salah-Eddine, dans le pays de « adalat-at-tilifoune » qu’est le nôtre.
Mes remerciements vont aussi à un certain nombre d’hommes d’honneur – algériens de l’intérieur, comme de l’émigration – qui ont montré tant de disponibilité et tant de sollicitude à l’égard de ma famille, en relayant l’information.

Club med au Mali, encore une fausse prise d'otage, encore une humiliation pour les services francais, pris la main dans le sac des le premier jour. Ces gens ne sont pas des otages, c'est une grossiere mise en scene !
Les services francais viennent de changer completement leurs plans suite a l'interception de leurs communications et de videos envoyées la semaine dernier a Aljazeera. Le fait d'avoir retiré toute la partie arabe, car celle-ci a été préparée et mal ajustée par le DRS-DST montre que la panique a gagné les troupes francaises au sol. En fait, en ayant séparé les otages en trois groupes, la France-Israel tente d'eviter ce qui s'etait passé pour Chenot-Malbrunot-Aubenas en Iraq en 2004-2005. Que les otages ne tombent aux mains de la véritable Resistance Islamique, qui elle, intercepte joyeusement toutes les communications locales, TOUTES LES COMMUNICATIONS !
Ces images baclées en sont la preuve. Et la Resistance finira bien par mettre la main sur ces faux otages et les agents francais qui l'ont monté, que ceux-ci soient gardés dans une base francaise au Mali ou en Mauritanie, avant les americains...
Le probleme de cette video c'est qu'elle s'adresse a un public francais. Premiere grossiere erreure de Squarcini et ses larbins qui agissent sous la panique plus qu'autre chose. Alors que dans le montage du DRS-DST, la video etait exclusivement en arabe, et toutes les videos des faux GIAs se font exclusivement en arabe, jamais en francais (meme si le public est francais ou occidental), qui est la langue de l'occupant, l'utiliser serait se demasquer aux yeux des autres groupes veridiques de la résistance. Le second point a ajouter est que les videos se font en arabe pour le recrutement, qui est miserable pour le DRS-DST, car les maghrebins et saheliens ont compris que derriere AQMI se cachaient en fait les agents de la France-Israel a Alger. Les videos en arabe sont travaillées pour la renommée et demontrer la capacité de nuisance locale, l'arabe qui est utilisé est tres travaillé. Le fait que les services francais aient changé la video pour couper tout le montage arabe demontre que les interceptions provoquent une panique generale, meme Aljazeera a mis plus de 5 jours avant de passer ces images bidonnées...
La seconde grossiere erreure est de faire dire a ces otages qu'ils ont été enlevé par AQMI, cette requete doit venir de France, car Pechenard, Squarcini, Hortefeuj et Morin n'ont plus de pantalon depuis que la supercherie a été révélée. Comment toi petit otage qui vient d'arriver il y a quelques semaines au Niger et qui vit dans son enclos securisé, tu peux faire la difference entre AQMI, un groupe de trafiquants de drogue, d'armes, de reseaux de prostitution, de contrebandiers, de veritables combattants touaregs ? Comment ? Ils s'habillent tous pareil, portent tous des armes, ont tous des tout-terrain, parlent presque tous le francais ou des reliquats de francais ? Comment toi petit otage tu fais la difference ? Tes ravisseurs, les services francais t'ont demandé de le dire et le repeter, comme les faux GIAs du DRS-DST avaient demandé aux moines de Tibhirines de dire qu'ils etaient aux mains de la 'djama'a islamiya' ... Apprenez de vos erreures passées Squarcini, ou change de metier!
Enfin le dernier point a soulever est que le DRS-DST se connecte sur des forums et des sites qui sont pour la plupart de veritables sites relayant les informations de la veritable resistance islamique, touaregs ou autres, ceci pour tromper le petit monde, souvent des neophytes, mais allez donc sur ses forums et vous verrez que la plupart de leurs membres savent faire la difference entre un post bidon de la DST, un des services saoudiens, jordaniens, egyptiens, israeliens, anglais ou americain... Certains sites sont entierement aux mains des services, a part aller voir ce qu'ils racontent de temps a autre, ces sites sont peu visités car infiltrés et infectés par l'enemi sioniste... Ce sont pourtant sur ces sites qu'apparaissent les fausses menaces d'attentats, ce sont ces sites qui sont relayés dans la presse sioniste en occident et dans les fausses agences israeliennes de renseignement comme le MEMRI, SITE de Rita Katz, ce sont encore ces sites manipulés qui sont repris par les bourricots de faux specialistes de la contre-insurrection les Jacquard, Moniquet, Raufer, Sfeir, Denecé et autre barbouzes de la DCRI....
Ces images et son et lumiere made in DCRI sorties sous la precipitation et la peur confirment que les services francais ont encore raté leur coup sous l'intense pression et les recherches pour mettre la main sur ces faux otages, histoire de compliquer la chose comme en 2004-2005 en Iraq et de bien finir de destabiliser les israeliens de France ...
Squarcini, qui t'a enlevé ? AKMI ! Comment tu le sais ? AKMI, qu'est-ce tu fais dans la vie ? AKMI, t'as quel age ? AKMI, combien t'es payé ? AKMI, combien tu resteras au club med du Mali ? Celui de Mauritanie ? c'est AKMI qui m'a enlevé...
En 1996-97, souvenez-vous de la reponse donnée par les commandos mediatiques des GIAs en France, Khalida Toumi, Yasmina Benguigui, BHL, Cohn-Bendit, Glucksman lorsqu'on leur demandait comment savez-vous que les massacres de civils en Algérie sont le fait des 'islamistes', reponse 'parce qu'ils disent Allahu akbar' ... C'est le meme niveau de propagande sioniste... CQFD
Squarcini, Hortefeuj, Pechenard et Morin se sont donnés la main et il se sont jetés du dernier étage de la tour Montparnasse, en tout cas ces images 'son et lumiere' equivalent a un suicide collectif !

Le centre médiatique Al-Andalus, organe de propagande de l’organisation Al-Qaïda au Maghreb islamique (AQMI), a diffusé un document vidéo daté du 28 septembre qui présente une photographie des sept otages français enlevés au Niger il y a deux semaines. Le document présente également un enregistrement sonore où les otages répondent à tour de rôle à des questions posées en français.
La chaîne Al-Jazeera a diffusé aujourd’hui un extrait de ce document vidéo. Mecanopolis s’est procuré la version intégrale que nous présentons ci-après. Bien évidemment, il n’est pas question pour nous d’adhérer ou de relayer une quelconque idéologie de violence, mais de permettre à chacun de se forger une opinon.
